Signed 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce Demo, $200/M first Payment as DAS for 24/10k, TX

Still some Tonale deals to be had in April. Maybe support will continue for May? Not sure - one dealer thought so but could be risky to wait.

have you reached out to stuart alfa romeo?

Yes, of course. Tried them and EVERY single Alfa dealer sitting on 2024’s in FL. Alfa Stuart said they never do more than 15% off MSRP on a 2024 Tonale, without exception. The deals posted here on LH are all 20-22% off MSRP (pre incentives) so I cant get near a good lease deal with their discount. When I asked if they’d consider a bigger discount to move a 460 day old 2024 Tonale off their lot, they stopped responding, lol.

lol, they have been blowing up my phone everyday for 2 weeks when i inquired about the tonale.

the problem is even with 20% off the cheapest my calculator is giving $259/month with tax. same discount with the hornet is like $150/month cause the residual is much higher

They’d rather use them as lot decoration obviously. Move on.

Totally agree with your math. The Hornet is a better deal and I’d be very happy with it. That said, I’d also take the Tonale for $259 in a heartbeat! lol

Im starting to think you’re right. One dealer in FL told me point blank, “were not discounting much now because we dont know what inventory will look like soon”. To me thats pure idiocy. You ALSO dont know what the economy will look like and if you’ll have any consumers! I’m already reading reports that sales and spending are way down in April.

I love being cheap but I"m not sure that I’m following all of the logic here. You’d jump on 259 in a heartbeat (even if out of state), but the 330 is absurdly high? What are you going to pay to ship the vehicle? lol $500-$1,800 and the hassle involved with buying out of state & dealing with transport? Even a small $500 difference obviously makes a large impact on short term, low money, lease.

$352, not $330 and thats $100/mo more than $250 or so, where I’d like to be at. And yes, $100 more per month is enough of a reason to go elsewhere.

Sounds like Rick Case. But to be fair, nobody knows what the next 3 months may bring us. With production slow downs across the board, anything is possible.

This statement reminded me of Covid times when I was told, with this pandemic around, there may be no buyers left so your dealers should go even lower lol. We all know how that panned out.

Covid was saved by the money printing machines working overtime. Will Trump print money to bail out of the coming recession (per like 90% of polled banks)? I dont think we can just assume he will as it was a main point of GOP criticism against DEMs. So, a recession without money printing is just a good old fashioned recession with curbed spending, job loss, etc

“They have one more 2024 Tonale Veloce with $60k MSRP and they want $330/mo (27/12) which just isnt that great considering the deals Im seeing here on LH. (these prices are with 7% tax)
Whart screwed me seems to be that they marked down the RV by 0.7% “due to 591 miles” and marked UP the mf too from 0.00025 to .00067 (also claiming, “due to 591 miles”)”

If you have over a 400 day supply of cars I don’t think you need to worry about what inventory will look like. It looks pretty f%cking bad now and it might look even f%cking worse if you don’t sell some of these lot anchors lol

What I really can’t believe is the amount of work being expounded on trying to land a deal on this POS !!!

The issue (for the buyers anyway) is that the floorplan isn’t absolutely terrible on these. So dealers are (clearly) willing to sit it out for a long while, and continuously hope that the manufacturer will throw them additional large bone to dump these… and not be completely on the dealer’s dime.

Stellantis has historically not been willing to throw their dealers a life preserver. Why would a dealer think they would suddenly throw them one in the near future?

lol true. Idk, but it seems to be a common theme across CDJR. One of the larger issues is their particular vehicle MSRP’s have just gotten FAR too out of control, especially since the COVID craze. I mean I feel that we can’t place all of the blame on the dealers either… they are in it for a profit and they have to work with what they are given.

lol, trust me, I’d like an X3 M40i or a Macan but when you can get a decent new ride for $250 or less, it becomes very enticing.

oops, my bad. They asked for $352 for the higher MSRP. I think I got confused because they said if I went to 10k miles, they could do $330. But irrelevant as I need 12k min and even prefer 15k
