Signed: 2023 BMW X3 M - $1052/mo incl taxes

Move to a strategy of making offers.

Plug the following into the LH calculator after MSRP of the vehicle you’re looking at:

Selling price based on % pre-incentive discount found by searching Shared Deals and Marketplace sections of this forum.

RV, MF and incentives (lease cash) from Rate Findr. Add any extra rebates you qualify for (college grad, etc) under incentives.

DMV fees and taxes based on your state’s official website.

Voila! Now check the box to make it $0 DAS and offer the resulting monthly payment*

  • preferably rounded to a multiple of $5 or $10 to make yourself seem more like a normal person :innocent:

Congrats on the X3M! The discount on MSRP seems really good for an M car but im not familiar with BMW’s MF on them. Im holding out for the M2 and am very afraid of what the nunbers will he. Have fun with that sweet ride! :+1:t2::+1:t2:

You can find those on Edmunds or if you’re a Super Supporter here.

Yeah, I am waiting for him to get back to me, he said he had to “ask his manager” about the money factor and residual on it - I would pay $1000/month for the M but not the M40i. I have excellent credit, but I don’t want anyone pulling my credit until I make a decision on what/where I want to buy. What was the monthly cost you came up with in the calculator? I do own a BMW convertible as well but would not be trading it in, so maybe I would qualify for that offer? I had already considered becoming a supporter and making a monthly donation as I am in the process of researching which vehicle I would like to lease next (I have a 2019 Volvo XC60 right now but we don’t have a local dealership here which can be a pain when there are recalls and when I was within my free service period before I hit 30k miles).

Here’s the “deal sheet” he sent me for the custom build I did on BMW’s website. Definitely seems way too high!

It is. Check with a marketplace broker

I apologize for my ignorance (I’m new here), but would clutch be considered a marketplace broker? I reached out to them yesterday. I honestly didn’t think I would get anything off MSRP for a custom build, but I saw that people are getting around 9% off MSRP for the M40i? I’m guessing that would be more likely if I found something in stock on a car lot, versus doing a custom order? My local BMW dealership does have a 2023 BMW M40i on the lot that I test drove, but it’s not the color I prefer and has about $4000 of packages/add-ons I don’t need. I know some dealerships/brands are actually adding additional markup on MSRP, especially for custom orders.

Yes clutch is a broker. But are you in his area that he serves? The dealer in that deal sheets seems like you’re in Kentucky?

Yes, I am located in Kentucky. Just realized I should probably redact some of the personal info on here!

You’ll likely get a larger discount on a custom order BMW than in stock.

Same for 3-row SUVs such as Tellurides (you asked in another thread about Mazda CX9).

The only brand really promoting in-stock deals is Nissan, on models where they are giving out absurdly high RVs on their leases.

That makes sense, since a lot of people can’t wait 4-6 months or longer to custom order one. But yes, I am trying to decide what to do and obviously I am all over the place right now!

I’m considering the X3 M40i, Telluride, and possibly the CX-9 Carbon Edition (although my husband thinks I won’t be satisfied with a non-luxury vehicle, I am liking the pricing on them and the residual % is higher than BMW and the dealer I am talking to is offering a pretty competitive MF).

Part of me wants to wait until the new 2023 Mercedes GLC 300 is released, because it looks much-improved over the 2022.

Hopefully, someone can confirm this, but loyalty applies to current and former BMW owners, so your convertible may qualify you for this offer. The calculator shows a sub $900 lease with loyalty applied and 9% off MSRP. Even without any MSRP discount the monthly is calculated at just under $1k. RV/MF of 55%/0.0018. Here’s the same link again with the numbers I used: CALCULATOR | LEASEHACKR

I would wait, but I imagine leasing it would not be very pleasing.

Even before chip/inventory shortages, Mercedes introduced the then-new GLE with sky high lease pricing.

Really? I think the platform is essentially unchanged. The mild hybrid is a nice addition, but reviews haven’t indicated that the 2023 C-Class is much of an improvement on the previous one otherwise; I suspect that this will also be true of the GLC.

The interior is where the improvement was made. Looks much cleaner.

Not all people (myself included) consider a touchscreen-only interface to be an improvement.

This really depends on the brand.

I hated the touch controls on both the Eat-Ron SUV and the S8 (I’m assuming this is pervasive on Audis, although those are the only two I’ve driven).

In addition to requiring taking eyes off the road to run really basic things, the greasy fingerprints that accumulate all over everything are :face_vomiting: .

I think the 2023 Mazda CX-9 carbon edition is pretty sharp, and the initial quote I received from a dealer is almost 1/2 what the BMW M40i was! :exploding_head::exploding_head::exploding_head:
