I have some questions about this deal. I’m in Texas and I’m in the market for a 2020 G70 right now. I know Texas handles taxes differently than most states by requiring the leasing company to pay all the taxes upfront which the leasing company passes along to the leasee.
When I read this deal, it appears that the OP was able to get a rebate for $7000…which is just $380 shy of the amount due at signing. Was that something that the OP negotiated? Or did all of the lease cash/rebates just happen to add up to the same amount as due at signing?
Any why on the lease calculator did the OP use 1% for state sales tax instead of 6.25%?
