If the West Coast fell off the map, then people would be complaining that the South or Midwest isn’t being aggressive enough. There are behind the scene numbers that affects the dealer discount. Cali dealers might get larger CSI and volume bonuses than other dealers since they are volume focused. From a dealer perspective, there is no reason to be competitive with someone 3000 miles away.

Pretty sure @Samaudibh understands geography and different markets…

About 33% of cars are leased, so they should be able to find a few cash or finance buyers. Worst case, they go into the loaner fleet for a few years and sold as CPO.

Kinda on topic, but the biggest issue with this forum is users think too much in a global perspective while the market is very local. The vast majority of buyers are not using brokers and only shop in their local market. When 95% of your buyers are shopping within a 100 mile radius, why be concerned with what someone is doing 3000 miles away?

same could be said for the response to covid – Why care whats happening thousands of miles away – with tech these days that type of thinking may drive the dealer out of business as the younger generation comes of age

I don’t see dealers going away anytime in our lifetime. The business model will probably change to one price like Tesla and more streamlined paperwork (state laws will need to be changed for this). However, this is worse for LHs since hacking will be essentially dead. Plus someone still needs to appraise trade ins, sell used cars, and service cars.

With loyalty you should be able to get a little under $500 on the East coast. The reason they declined ursus is because of covid …

Sam, is the pricing getting any more aggressive on the prestige?
I’m local and would lease two from you for 13% off pre incentives (Costco).

For a second I thought you meant a new 2013, lol. BTW, what the heck (or is it hack?) do they do with those cars that are 2-3 model years old? I tried both of these back in October of last year to see if they’d sell for the used car price - no dice… yet both are still here!

Same here…650 for a 85k Prestige, 10k miles 24 months. First month payment due.

Has anybody had luck with a 2019 E-tron in South Florida area? Dealers here seem to have inventory but not willing to have constructive conversations about

Can I know from which dealership you got this deal? I’m in SoCal and would to duplicate this deal. You can PM me info too

eastern dealers are treating it like a halo car

i think incentives are higher in fl as well – not sure though

I got few quotes in the beginning of the month. Best one was 500ish on 75k (North Miami Audi) rest were garbage. Might be a bit better by the end of the month but doubt it will be a unicorn.

how much MSD did you put?

Amazing deal. I always thought Audi’s “don’t lease well” but this is great. congrats

Was that with Loyalty? Remember the 400 deals are with loyalty. Without Loyalty not gonna get it.

With loyalty

Has anyone had any similar deals in the PA/NJ area?

Best I’ve got so far was $3000 DAS at $565 a month for 24/7500 no MSD. Dealer said they don’t do it. Seems like the dealerships around here don’t want to apply full incentives. It’s my understanding that there is $7500 lease cash, loyalty, Costco, $7250 marketing allowance and federal EV credit. Mf .00173 57% residual, 9% tax… so I feel like it should be possible?

I attached a quote I got from another dealership - any recommendations on how to approach or insight as to what (if anything) they didn’t include?

That’s similar to my deal without loyalty in MA. But yours is a higher msrp one 78k. The deals have been on 74k msrp ones.
