Had a cx90 for a rental yesterday.
Man, what a pile of crap. How Mazda manages to make the driving experience so miserable is beyond me. Filled the cargo area with 2 backpacks. The infotainment is an abomination. It screams at you constantly. The interior is remarkably tight with everything in the wrong place.
The interior looks nice when you open the door, but its utterly useless.
At least they got rid of all the piano black trim from the cx9, so something is better.

Interesting. So compared to a GC 4xe, not great?
I bite my tongue nearly every time someone here suggested Mazda, because of the cheaper payment, cargo space, etc. I have never been a fan of most of their vehicles.
I agree that the new CX90 has decent (at least exterior) aesthetics, but it sort of falls on its face after that…
My wife had a cx9 for a while. Ive been pretty outspoken about how incredibly bad it was. On paper, the cx90 looked like it had addressed a lot of the issues i had with it. It didnt. Well, they did get rid of the piano black trim at least.

I always rent an EV from MCO, pretty easy to find chargers in Orlando and Miami, there is never anyone there! The only charger that ever has people, and maybe a “short” line is the Florida Mall EA. The FPL Evolution network is good too.
I actually enjoyed having the Acadia for a few days. I assumed it was a 6cyl because it had much more pull than the Santa Fe and Santa Cruz I had with the 2.5T, I was very surprised to find a turbo 4 under the hood. I was also getting 27-29MPG which is pretty decent for a 7 passenger SUV.
Was just in Seattle and got a brand new GC4xe. Kind of weird but liked it. The gas engine is rough and sounds like it, reminded me of my 84 Chevy celebrity. Lots of power, but very noticeable switching between gas and electric. I put about 500 miles on it and averaged 23mpg, so it’s not really better than my telluride. Seems gimmicky and the range in electric is putrid. Saw this for the first time today, thing was a rocket ship, dusted me…

Just booked AVIS Full Size (Hopefully a Camry-but most likely a Chevy Malibu haha) in Waikiki (International Marketplace) for one day 4/17-18 for $60 with COSTCO, it was the same price at HNL although HNL had Tesla EV for $52/day or Wrangler $61/day, but for the easy access and can just park their car after hours at the parking structure at IM decided to just get a car in Waikiki this time, Staying at Sheraton Princess for a week and just trekking to the North Shore for a day and a quick east side of island trip 
Prices have been in the $95+ for the last few months, but last week started dropping… maybe if I change my mind I may get that Tesla for $52 and just pay the $25 recharge fee, but probably stick with Waikiki
Where you seeing these prices? I’ll be there towards the end of the month and my reservation is over $100 a day.
Also, I think AVIS doesn’t have Tesla.
Maybe it’s because I am looking to pickup and drop-off at the airport.
Costcotravel.com AVIS/BUDGET have the TESLAS for that price $52 all in. You can book and rebook with Costco if better prices pop up, I always do that. Prices have come down the last few days.
EDIT: Airport is usually cheaper per se, and also depends on dates- as well. I used to ride the Bus to HNL and pick up there… what days you looking for?

Costco shows $447 total for Tesla/EV for those days… so $89/day you do have some cheaper options Economy through Full size for $295-$311 total
Thought we discussed this haha you ONLY NEED a car for a day 
so to avoid $50/day parking
I input 8am to 8am for those dates, if you change the times sometimes price changes too-depending on what part of the day it is…

I ended up canceling my reservation at ‘Alohilani Resort and got an Airbnb instead eith free parking.
I do have a Turo booked from a few weeks ago, a convertible. But I think I’ll just cancel it and get something cheaper just to have a car around.

I’d stay at Outrigger Waikiki Beach, it’s right on the beach/water and with Costco Deal you get Breakfast or Lunch included, Waived Resort Fee, Airport Transfers and Costco Cash Card (value depends how many days you stayed) but for your days would’ve been $2100 for two, probably same price as Alohilani Resort but you’re at the beach/sand/feet/water

Looks good on outside and inside. Seats were comfortable. Had heated and ventilated seats. Silent for a convertible. Infotainment was good, sound system was bad and engine was horrible. Drove very nice. A V8 coupe would be a nice daily.

Low optioned turbo 4 I assume? Mustangs are actually very good at being cars…with the right spec. Gt premium you could drive for hours.
That’s actually my complaint with them - they’re too good at being cars. They’re not a great sports cars and they can hardly be referred to as muscle.
I don’t know the trim but it had heated steering wheel and ventilated seats so maybe not base? Yes, 4 banger. Surprisingly it didn’t have paddleshifters. You could only drive in D mode.
