Should I run away? 2024 GLC lease quote in WA

I was looking at these with the Costco incentives. There are 0 XC40s 150 miles away from me. There are a few 200 miles away but all of them are listed for MSRP.

I believe so. Brokers still list 2023 loaners.

Well dealers are obviously going to want you to pay MSRP. You have to haggle. But since there seems to be a demand, you would probably get a better deal on a XC60.

Thanks for catching that! I know MB stopped supporting 2023 by April, but browsing through the BMW Tigard website I see they still support leasing 2023s.

I think @DealsAtPorsche said MB has stopped 2023 model year lease support on loaners.

Bmw is available for 2023. Mb is not except for somelot anchors like EVs. Completely agree with trying for the X3. I’ve been helping a friend look for a mid size SUV and a 23 X3 is the move this month

Does the Audi Q3 have the kind of lumbar support you need?

From pictures, looks like it has 4-way lumbar support so yeah

Currently looking at the one mentioned earlier in the thread, it’s the same lease offer for the '24 GLC. Now I am debating between the '23 X3 and '24 GLC.

I think you can do better on the X3. Something to also take into consideration is that BMW has complimentary maintenance for probably 2 years (considering its a loaner), reducing total cost of ownership

Yep, and that has been great with my current bimmer. I know Mercedes will probably charge close to $800 for the service B, and another $300 maybe for Service A, so that’s extra $1500 right there. And I might qualify for loyalty for an X3 if they won’t push back.

Not might, you will. If they don’t, run away as fast as possible. BMW oil changes aren’t too expensive also, around $100 I think so the 3rd one won’t be too bad.

Alright, gonna try and get the numbers ahead of time and maybe travel down to Portland this weekend.

I would hit the other Portland dealer too. Maybe @IAC has some thing from their Idaho dealer?

Alright, here are the numbers for the '23 X3:

Lease is 36/12k
MSRP: $54860
Selling price is: $48195 (with 695 aftermarket), that’s 12.15% discount
Rebates: $2500 ($1500 loyalty + $1000 BMW rebate)
MF: IDK, but given the calculator don’t match I assume it’s very marked up?
Residual is 53%
Monthly incl. tax $828.66 (though the calculator price is $735 instead with base MF)
DAS: 1st month

FWIW, below is the calculator but I couldn’t figure the MF so it’s inaccurate. This is with base MF from Edmunds.

Not sure if I should ask for the MF or ask them for a base MF? I assumed it’s marked up a lot because otherwise how would it be almost $100 per month?

Here’s the fine print for that interest:

should I create a new post for this? put it in the same one just to not pollute the forum

I think you need to create a realistic offer start sending it out to dealers rather than you asking for quotes and the dealer giving you what they want you to pay. It will take some time and a lot of no’s, but you never know when a dealer is trying to get rid of something. I’d say 20% discount with base MF is something you should be looking for on a lower mileage loaner like this.

So, they actually tried to “trick” me. They gave me an initial offer with price X and then I asked for rebates and they immediately accepted and sent me a new one. Then I applied the equivalent of the $2500 rebate to the original one, and the number is closer to the calculator at $760.

Given the PNW market is pretty rough, I would love to get 20% but after trying to hunt for the last few months, I think it’s extremely rare. Maybe I don’t have the best skills or time, but I honestly think 20% is a huge stretch for WA/OR. But not disputing anything you’re suggesting

You have to extend your radius to as far as you are willing to drive or get the car shipped. I’d say avoid CA or TX dealers as they don’t love selling to out of state buyers.

I mean that’s one of the smallest CUVs available in the US. Why not look at CX50, Tucson, Sportage, etc?
