Looking to sell my car. What are my best options in today’s market. Is carmax, carvana, still the great places to sell ? Is there any new dealership/company that has come up in recent years that I should not miss. Will try contacting them all in next 1-2 days and see what I get and if it’s worth selling. Not sure if I can get close to 20k. Any expert tips/strategies will be great appreciated. Thanks
Check how much Carvana/carmax offer you and try to post it on FB marketplace based on your research.

Private party is another option. I easily beat the best dealer bid last time I sold a car.

Honestly, that’s a pipe dream.
Even the premiers are under 20k in CA and you only have an LT.
Just saying please realize 20k isn’t going to happen in CA
I had just sold my 2023 Premier w/ SC 13k mi a few weeks ago for $22k in socal.
I originally had offer up to 22.5k but within the week that I was looking for the highest offer most places backed out or lowered their offer to $18k range.
The dealer that purchased my car now has it listed for $22.4k which makes me wonder if they will be able to make money on it.
4 weeks ago i had best offer of 19k, forgot which one and I tried 3-4 online quotes (maybe it was carvana). now I am getting 17k.
That’s what it looks like now. Is private selling better for this car or there’s not enough buyers? I know used EV credits/rebates have also expired now, but some cities still have used EV rebates I think which may help a little.
How can anyone answer that question? No way to find out until you spend $5.00 to put up an ad on CL
