Seeking Lowest Total-Cost One-Pay Lease – Bay Area – RDX Trade-In Available

Hey LH community,

I’m in San Jose, CA and looking for advice on the lowest total-cost one-pay lease options currently available.

My situation:

I have a paid-off 2019 Acura RDX SH-AWD (~80K miles) with a $21K trade-in offer

Installed a home EV charger (~$0.25/kWh)

This will be a secondary/personal-use vehicle (light driving, but want something solid and comfortable)

Credit score is ~750

Open to any fuel type (EV, PHEV, hybrid, gas) as long as the overall cost is low

Preference for one-pay leases only

Ideally something with decent ride quality (coming from an RDX), but not married to any brand

What I’m looking for:

Lowest possible total cost (not focused on monthly)

Minimal hassle (clean structure, ideally no junk fees)

Willing to use trade-in equity if it helps the deal

Prefer to lease something newer and reliable vs. buying used outright

Would appreciate any:

Recent signed one-pay deals

Dealerships in NorCal offering aggressive one-pay structures

Tips for structuring one-pay leases (tax, GAP, early terminations, etc.)

Open-minded here — just want to make a financially smart move.

Thanks in advance,

Welcome to LH!!!

I haven’t checked on how they’re leasing in a while, but I would start by checking out an Ioniq5. Hyundai regularly puts pretty good programs on them and the ride quality is surprisingly good (I think the one I have rides better than my wife’s Lucid Air or the Audi etron she had previously).

I was initially replying to your other post: RE: ZDX.

Inventory is pretty tight and each month the RV goes down.

Check the marketplace for broker deal: $7199, but only for red. You will have to come to southern CA likely.

Sherman Oaks still has some in stock and in transit, but they weren’t interested in uber aggressive deals last month. DCH is sold out of A Spec AWD.

Check out this deal: not 1 pay:

Yeah I checked the one broker who has something advertised says they are sold out!
