I think you mean MF and it should be 0.0065.
yes and yes lol
so any thought?
What’s the pre-incentive discount?
My thoughts exactly. Then I’ll opine.
And if @mp11477 sees this, I’m sure he’ll say it’s another “fancy” word.
Can do better. There is around 3 to 4k incentive on that car, so their discount has another 1 to 2k room for improvement…
Okay, so a couple of things:
Are you set on a momentum? While the residual is 1% lower on an r-design, the MF is 0.00005 lower, and the incentives are $2,000 more ($3,250 vs. $5,250). The same terms apply to an inscription as do the r-design.
The dealer should have a loaner credit of $3,000 baked into the price.
Adding the incentives of $3,250 back to the selling price, you’re at $39,294. You’re at 17% after the $3,000 and 10.5% before the $3,000. That’s a pretty solid discount, so I don’t think you’re going to be able to go lower on a momentum. However, if you find a base-ish inscription or r-design, you could do better. A new one rather than a loaner should be better than this loaner because of the depreciation hit from the miles.
Thanks for the input. I want to be around 450 with taxes and fees rolled in, couldnt get there in inscription.
I’m kind of surprised, since the incentives are now $250 more than they were during Costco, the MF is much lower, so even if the discount isn’t as good, it should even out. Or is it just that the inscriptions that are left are higher-MSRP ones?
I’ve in look at the 47-49k range I usually get numbers in the low 500s
Are you just asking them the price or are you making an offer?
Both, but mostly asking then countering
So back to my original question. What’s the pre-incentive discount?
Is this a car at Edison/using my salesman? I can see if I can push him a little more if so. I see one there with this MSRP.
Also, they have an inscription loaner is that is $2,800 more than this momentum. If the discount is equal, with the extra incentive and the lower MF, the price should be just about the same: https://www.volvocarsedison.com/commercial-new/Volvo/2019-Volvo-S60-edison+nj-da08d8ca0a0e0ae8193ab96a1116c8dc.htm.
Same discount on inscription (I know I accidentally left the dealer fees and DMV as the California default, but it is almost the same with a lower DMV fee in NJ the sum of both is almost the same): leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Volvo&miles=12000&msd=0&msrp=49790&sales_price=41425&months=36&mf=0.00060&dp=-1675&dealer_fee=85&acq_fee=995&taxed_inc=5250&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=54®_fee=400&sales_tax=6.625&demo_mileage=0&memo=&totalLeaseTax_radio=true
Opine is my preferred air freshener in my Volvo.
I’m late to the party and had exactly the same thoughts you did, so I’ll be quiet now.
This is what I got at the end of July. You should add about 3k of additional loaner incentive beyond the advertised incentives.
Wow thank you all for the info. @AP919 deal was not from Edison, although I will try contacting them regarding that inscription. Havent got preincentive price yet, will get that tom. Thank again all.
Why do you bother if he didn’t bother to answer simple question?
