I spot checked for a Equinox EV. There are multiple incentives/rebates listed; I don’t know if that’s the complete list.

I am in a process of leasing Equinox EV. I was able to get $4k dealership discount. Can I stack gm friend and family discount with dealership discount?Is there two different discounts? I see some friends and family discount is $2500 and other is $1000. Which one is for EV?

At any rate, the EV credit can be used on dealer discounted vehicles; however, that is up to dealer interpretation. They see the GMS amount on the invoice which is MSRP on these EVs and some interpret they must sell at MSRP. Other dealers see that the EV employee cash allowanxe is a rebate that can be applied to a deal.
GMS and Friends and Family should not stack. GMS is for employees and eligible family members/domestic partners, retirees, and certain executive designees, former employees who are granted GMS as a parting gift, etc.
Friends and family is akin to GM supplier.

Yes, but better rebate is if you have GM supplier and competitive vehicle in house.

I do NOT think this deal will be founded.
RV is higher than net selling price after rebates.
Dealer must write a check for you, i think.

For GM supplier and supplier friends and family, Equinox EV, Blazer EV, and Lyriq are $1,000. Silverado EV, Hummer EV, and Sierra EV are $2,000. Stackable with dealer discount and some other rebates.
Btw. You need to be GM EMPLOYEE to get this rebate.
Bummer. I saw it on GM family first but it doesn’t mention that it’s $1000. It’s liaat $2250 and says can be shared with immediate family members, nephew, niece and uncle, auntie.
Oh wow, what a bummer. I started exploring the various rebates I could qualify for with GM on an EV to replace our Jeep 4XE. We are direct family with GM retiree. I sort of assumed like always he could pull one of his GMS codes codes for the employee discount but it looks like this is only for active GM employees on the EV vehicles. I was hoping I could qualify for the following.
- GM Employee - $2250
- Lease $1000 - (Current 4XE)
- GM Credit Card Sign Up
If I do not qualify or opt for Employee pricing, I may actually come out ahead if I qualify for competitor and lease if that is possible?
