Random Jeep chatter

Looking back on your posts, this was a $63k Gobi Sahara that you were strictly looking to flip. They prob did you favor honestly as this would most likely been unflippable given the current market.

Count your blessings.

If you think he’s the king (or even Vin), there’s a dude here who orders 30 at a time under different names and flips them as soon as he get them. He’s known as the “Flipper-Stripper King”amongst dealers .

Bare bones Sahara flipper in masses. He’s actually partially to blame with the flood of Wranglers in the northeast.

Most people (I hope) are not posting all activity here. Letting more people in on intel just makes it harder and worse on those who share.

He’s the true flipper…

Pioneered MT LLC flipping, had 10+ on order at any given moment and probably got a dealer license to sell wholesale given the volume.

He basically slept with Gupton.

The fact that you guys know all of this is scary. Soooooo much exposure on his part.

Also, sharing how much you make in public….oooof.

The home mortgage industry is heavily regulated particularly after ‘08. That’s a different ball game so I don’t think this is an appropriate comparison.

I meet those requirements but I needed a cosigner on my 4th. Had 3 outstanding car loans…

i had 2 open auto finance loans and was primary on another 4xe a week prior, still approved lol

Exactly. You needed a co-signer, as did I. LH just spent a good portion of a day shitting on a dealer about CCAP requiring a co-signer. Everyone’s credit profile and application differs. Just because one person received an approval doesn’t mean it universally applies.

No one here is a CCAP underwriter nor has access to credit profiles so their opinions and comparisons should be taken with that in mind. Reading stupid ass comments about a home mortgage loan versus an auto loan baffles me. One person recommended Mall of Georgia based off his personal experience yet they have a three star rating on dealer rater. And if you look in their reviews they literally have an identical review with the same issue…

Point is, brokers move over 100+ vehicles per month. And issues are expected. I always try to keep them below 10%.

What I can say is that dealers monitor the comments here. Just discourages them to offer deals and discontinue their offers. Next time LH-ers shop they are just limiting their own options. Just my two cents! Not targeted at you though! Just in general.

I signed on 3 cars in a week
Ran credit each time
And the finance manager on the 3rd one was like “oh I see you applied for XXXX and Xxxxx did it not work or what?”

And I make no where near of what some of you make

Well, you played the credit game. Credit pulls for auto usually gets grouped in a 14-day window appearing like you were shopping for an auto loan vs actually getting 3 loans. Lenders dont report on it right away either, so you could almost get away with multiple approvals & deals for a month or two.

Most definitely, approvals are held close to heart and dealers don’t do enough to show transparency like it should be from the beginning. Maybe its a CCAPs problem but lack of transparency is what creates these issues.
