If trading in your lease to a dealership, are they using your total buyout amount WITH the sales tax? Looking at possibily cashing out on my 2021 Grand Cherokee Limited lease to hop into one of the new models (and hopefully pocket some cash)…and im curious if the number the dealership uses is the initial purchase price on my buyout or the “total amount due” with the sales tax?
Ask for a dealer payoff, if they won’t give you it, 3 way call and ask your dealer to do it, if they can’t figure that out, just know it’s purchase price + purchase option ffee

Depends on the state that the dealer is in. I see some GA and FL stores having to pay CCAP with tax.
We had a long call with CCAP last week and we became an approved dealer to pay them off without tax

Noone has to pay tax on a CCAP purchase, if it’s outside of the final 60 days…
