Honestly, and this is coming from probably the biggest Chick Fil A fan on LH, the popeyes chicken sandwich is really REALLY good.

I bet that it’s inconsistent from restaurant to restaurant. It’s the only thing I’ve had from Popeyes in the last 10 years and I was pleasantly surprised. Of course the service is terrible.

I used to work at an afterschool program in Rochester, NY I was in grad school in the time I believe. I can confirm this was a big deal.

I think their chicken is ok. The sandwich is good in its spicy variety but I’ve definitely had a few quality control issues. I will say that their biscuits are one food item that makes absolutely no sense to try and duplicate or improve on at home. They are already so good and so cheap that you won’t be able to make them better for the same or less cost.

Awful is definitely warranted especially after all the hype around it.
Take away the hype behind it, I would say it’s an OK sandwich.

Working at church’s chicken in high school when we ran a 10 piece dark meal special- and we ran out- the after church crowd definitely gave us these responses.
Buffalo Wings from a legit wing place are far superior than any of these fastfood chicken places.

You all are overthinking this. All you need to do is email this to all the chicken sandwich spots, and go with the best deal.
As we discussed on the phone, I would like to purchase a fried chicken sandwich as soon as possible. I have seen the chickens, and know exactly what type of seasoning I want (spicy). I’m getting pricing from several fast food joints, and I will go with whoever offers me the best deal. To make it a fair comparison, please bid on the amount over or under wholesale chicken cost you are willing to go.
If I buy from you, I am assuming that I will be shown a picture of the chicken used to make the sandwich. If you do not have that, please at least provide me with the name of the chicken.
Please provide in your bid:
- Whether the sandwich has pickles or not – they are atrocious and make sandwiches taste bad.\
- List any additional sauces that are used
- List whether the chicken had access to sunlight or not
- Can I have a whole wheat brioche bun?
- List any additional toppings.
