PNW Seattle/Portland what kind of deal to shoot for 2025/26 BMW X3?

,

This seems to be a region with little in the way of deals, so I’d like to get some input here. Thinking of offering ~12% off MSRP on a ‘25, or somewhere around 8-10% on a ‘26 BMW X3 before incentives for a purchase w/trade. Open to lease if it’s a solid deal but none in this area that I have seen. Willing go the broker route if it makes more sense.

Plenty to choose from in local inventory but dealers here don’t seem too interested in making a deal. I want to go in with an offer that’s at least got a reasonable chance or is a solid starting point.

If you need to ask , use a broker.

Terrible advice.

OP, first places to check are Signed Deals & Tips and Marketplace

We have a superhero here guys. Flew in and saved the day with a worthless comment.

So, someone should just instinctively know?

I have browsed both the signed deals and marketplace but seen little there and even less that is applicable to this region

Not at all but the information you are asking for would make your life much easier just to work with someone who has been doing this for years. All the information is presented to you clearly on this site.

Exactly why you should use a broker.

Not sure how helpful it’ll be for your region, but in CA I just got offered 12% off on a 2026. Was helping a friend shop and ended up getting him into a 2025 loaner that was 20% off.

You wanna do it yourself? Currently MF and RV on 2026 X3 30 is 57% + Money Factor - 0.0018. I hope it helps. (36/10)

Just ship a car. I’ll get you 12% off with base MF in IL, and the doc. fee is only $425.

Look outside your region. The pre-incentive discount percentage from CA or NY should be your target. You won’t necessarily get there but at least you have a target and will know where you’ll break even with shipping

Your region is horrible for discounts.

Get one from out of state from myself or someone else at 10-12% off, pay the shipping fee, and you’ll still be miles ahead of anything you can get locally, I’m confident.

Yeah, and it’s weird as there are four dealers within an hour’s drive, 3 of them inside 30 mi; another 3 if I push to two-three hours out. There’s not a ton of inventory but there’s enough to choose from and yet, even with multiple dealers and decent inventory, nobody seems to be able to get a deal up here.

They know you’re stuck up there with nowhere to go and a good amount of the BMW buying population works for tech companies making 300k/year+

It’s not impossible but it’s not easy. Right time, right unit, right GM. Broker route is easier.

Forget about WA — your best chance is definitely OR.
Reach out to the GM at BMW of Eugene; he was really easy to work with when I was shopping for a new i5 in March of last year. He offered me 11.5% off and base MF.

I was ready to sign with him, but he stopped responding for about a day — turned out he was at a corporate event. By the time we reconnected, BMW of Portland had offered me an even better deal, but I’ve leased several cars from them before.

BTW, BMW of Portland changed ownership recently. Hopefully that ends up being a good thing.

Good luck!
