And it makes me wonder with all the sleight of hand that dealership does with add ons and number tweaking: do payment packing laws even work? From my understanding CA is the only state that has a payment packing statute, but has it ever been enforced? Has anyone heard or know of a case where a consumer actually won a payment packing case? Does anyone know of success ratio of such suit?
