Dealer can’t lock anything. I have helped many members here get Wrangler deals over past few years and not one of them were lockable. Hope its true but I would not get hopes up.
Told me there is sold order protection but again, I recognize the risk here as to what is and is not lockable, but I’m feeling lucky.

Same here…at this sales price and rebate I dont really care what the MF/RV is at time of signing. This would still be the rare car worth buying.
What would max worse case bump in monthly be if rates change not in our favor?
Completely unpredictable - if residuals drop a ton and rates go up a ton? I don’t think that’ll happen but no way to know.
Just kidding…but honestly, theres no real way to know other than to make projections based on past experience, which of course we all know cant be applied looking forward.
How do you find out by state? Would it be taxed or untaxed in NY?

Yeah…if a $20-30/mo bump makes or breaks the deal, a deal like this with potential swing should be avoided. Just grab an on lot car and make your best run at it.
I know nothing about NY’s taxes specifically…but based on how everything else there is reported to go by others, Id guess taxed!

Odds are NYS it will be taxed like everything else. Wonder if this credit extends to Rubicon. Might just swap my Rubicon for this for easily $50 or more less monthly.

I checked the inventory. Seems no wrangler 4xe in dealer’s lot now. So factory order seems the only option.
Most cars showing in-transit to dealers currently are sold pre-orders. Another dealer in my area has 15 units incoming and 13 are pre-sold.
