Dumb question. If you live in Texas but lease out of state do you pay taxes on the full vehicle? I believe the answer is yes because it is registered in Texas but want to confirm. If not I nay look outside of Texas

Hey gang, I was about to pull the trigger on ordering a 4xe wrangler from Tri city in NC. They claim about 10 to 12 weeks but a friend of mine at a different jeep store says that place has a bad reputation for taking months upon months and not selling at the price when agreed upon when ordering. Curious if anyone on here had dealt with them, thanks
Never dealt with these people but you need to be aware of the fact that they are not the ones that will be building your Jeep so they will have no control over the build process (so if it takes months and months blame the factory not the dealer). They should mention the agreed upon sales price when you place your order. Make sure you have a copy of your order sheet with your VON.
I know its not their issue but my friend at the other store is a GM and said that dealer is so small and can only order so many. Therefore they take your order and nonrefundable deposit and it sits and sits. IDK, I picked the wrong time to look for a lease!! haha
Nah if you got a good sales price just stay positive. I ordered mine from another dealer (on the other side of the country) on 4/27 and my estimated shipping window is 5/24-6/08. You’re on the East Coast, closer to Toledo (the Jeep factory) so I’m sure that will help.
Ive order from Tri-City twice. First one took a little under a month. My 4xe was ordered on 4-7 and was delivered to the dealer yesterday. I’ve also referred a few people to them and had no issues. Feel free to DM me and I’ll let you know exactly what to expect.
Also, does the person talking negatively want you to order from them instead?

Tri City has a great reputation on the Jeep and RAM forums. I’d err towards someone being a little envious or trying to steal business.
