Two things:
(1) It can be true - it is dealer allocation specific. I’m guessing LHers used up my dealer contact’s 4xE allocation haha.
(2) My 4xE Sahara (ordered 4/12) is being built - F stage for paint! Estimated ship date of 4/25 still on track.

Are you able to check build status yourself online?Placed an order few days ago and wondering if I need to get a build code from the dealer. Super excited if you can’t tell 
Same here, shows shipping in four days but I guess we will see if that actually holds true😜
You can get build status through Jeep Chat once you’ve been assigned a VIN. It’s a lot easier than bothering your dealer.

I’m one that used one of your dealers allocations lol. I ordered on 4/16 went into D1 on 4/21 with a ship date of 4/30. I’ll check on it tomorrow with Jeep chat. I don’t want to bug the dealer too much. Hopefully I’m right behind you @28firefighter

From what I have been told, some dealers appear to have unlimited allocations for custom builds, but they do have allocation for stock.
And it appears some dealers can and do customize their stock allocations for customers.
My local Jeep dealer told me that for every custom order they get another allocation for their own stock. They are making a ton of money off this deal as in stock inventory is going at MSRP. So even at break even on an order they will get another Wrangler to sell at full price that they otherwise would not get.
Maybe it’s been asked but can you stack the $500 or $1000 true car rebate on top of this?
I’m not sure. Wrangler has been specifically excluded on the TrueCar offers I have.
Ordered on 4/15 through OP’s dealer, apparently it’s in the shipping stage per Jeep chat. So seems like these are getting built pretty quickly.

Mine was in paint on Friday. Could be similar this afternoon but Jeep chat is closed today and I didn’t check yesterday.
Do you have a window sticker or build sheet yet? If you PM me your vin I can check.
I saw gladiator builds has a website that you can check you build status on w/o having to go thru Jeep Chat. wish wranglers had the same
