Yes, I would be worried that it happened already as well if in the market for a new BEV, PHEV, etc. I would also be worried about any buying or leasing any car made in Mexico or Canada as well as of February 1st (the anticipated start date). A 25% tariff is no small amount, and lots of cars, trucks and SUVs sold in the US are made in both countries.
