Yes, I would be worried that it happened already as well if in the market for a new BEV, PHEV, etc. I would also be worried about any buying or leasing any car made in Mexico or Canada as well as of February 1st (the anticipated start date). A 25% tariff is no small amount, and lots of cars, trucks and SUVs sold in the US are made in both countries.
It is not dealer dependent, $7.5k lease incentive comes from the captive financing company. Toyota originally had a 1/19 deadline for this month’s lease cash expiration date but they have extended it until the end of the month. They would have not done that if they interpreted Trump’s EO as killing the $7.5k incentive.
That car list is great. The impact of the tariffs will hurt the car market writ large no matter the drivetrain.

Columbian tariffs just started immediately at 25% and will go to 50% in one week for refusing planes full of migrants being returned.
