These are just better rims away from being better looking than model Ys
Was the letter from an ariya that had a higher msrp before nissan reduced msrp? Iām wondering if only the people who had higher msrps got the 10k offer. The 23 and 24 evolve eforce awd had a 6k price difference.
Just grounded mine last month and got an alert that it was charging today. 23 evolve eforce awd 18k miles. 57kish sticker. JN1DF0BB5PM708099
Yes, it was.
Lease origination: Jan 2024
2023 ARIYA Platinum
MSRP: $63,400
RV: $40,576
Mine was a 2023 Evolve+ e-Force and I did not get the offer.
Also trying to figure out what to do. Iām on a 3 month extension which ends in Dec. Residual is 35,409. I got the 10k offer.
Thinking about buying a cheap used Leaf, but it would be a huge downgrade in vehicle. My Ariya has 11k miles and it is a great vehicle.
Has anyone had any luck recently in extending? My nephews $118 platinum ends in December but heās been trying to request an extension and NMAC is giving him a hard time.
I donāt understand the reluctance to buy a vehicle if itās a better value than the alternatives ā¦sounds like a better deal than the leaf to me.
sure you canāt flip it, but thatās the wrong lens through which to look at this.
the ONLY reason i couldnāt buy an ariya is the damn turn signal.
at least in my ā24 the stalk is fking irritating to use. you canāt tell where the āstopā is between the 3 flashes vs. turning on the signal fully. and! you cannot hear the signal. at all.
itās the only car i have left the signal on accidentally.

You mean being reluctant on buying out a vehicle to instantly lose 10k on it?
He doesnāt, he got the $10k offer off his $35,409. $25k for Ariya which you know the history for is a good value IMHO.
So, after all lease and purchase costs, you would be getting the Ariya with 50% discount. Who wouldnāt do that?
Mine is 38k. I need a 20k discount haha
By his RV I donāt believe he has a Platinum, which could be worth the 25k.
I had a Platinum with an RV of $40,576. Even with the $10k off, it wasnāt quite enough for me to move forward with the purchase, though I do miss it.
My Wagoneer S is heading in for service next week for more āupdatesā⦠![]()
Itās an engage+ AWD.
Itās a really nice vehicle. I just donāt drive a whole lot, so I donāt really NEED a super nice car.
For example I could buy a ā23 or ā24 Leaf SV plus for like 17 grand or whatever and be fine.
It would probably be the smarter choice financially, but yeah I would miss the comfort size and capability of the Ariya.
Honestly, my wife loved Arya Engage+ and heads-up display but now she enjoys Blazer EV more. It is wider and rides softer. Now, being in Blazer, it feels Arya is very narrow.
A. You are not instantly losing $10k on an Arya bought for 25k.
B. All car are an expense. Or 99.99% of them are. As long as cheap leases exist, thatās the best route. Otherwise an Arya bought for $25k is arguably a better purchase than a Leaf bought for 17. Unless someone was specifically looking for the size of the Leaf.
I never got that narrow feeling in my Ariya. I liked that when I slid the console back as far as I could, the experience was as close to the comfort of a front bench seat without it being a bench seat. My Lyriq does float compared to my previous Ariya/GV60 - which is a different feeling. It does feel much bigger to drive too (but think its almost as long as my wifeās Jeep GC, bit still much shorter than the F150 Lightning I just flupped.)
The Ariya doesnāt feel narrow to me. I had a second-gen Murano several years ago, and the interior space feels about like that (Iāve also sat in the current generation, and again, the Ariya feels about the same inside). IMO, the EV drivetrain packaging allows them to make the interior feel like a larger vehicle despite the Ariyaās exterior dimensions falling between the Rogue and Murano. The Rogue feels noticeably smaller than the Ariya and Murano.
I find the Ariyaās ride quality to be on the soft side, very wallowy, and definitely would not want anything softer.
