Nissan ARIYA Discussion Thread

Thank you.

Just got an Ariya Engage AWD, what kind of phone mount do you guys use?

This one but I want something a little better as I think it is trying to dent the vent https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BRZTWN91/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

I have the similar one for the Murano which has traditional air vent, works perfectly.
But this Ariya has a very unique air vent style…

I don’t use this, but it’s custom designed for the Ariya’s vents. Pretty steep on the price side though, $70 when you factor in the phone holder comes separately.

lol 7%

Took me at 15% and I got 105. 20% is 97.

As a Side Note : I charged at a 50, hit the 60 minute stop, unplugged, waited 30 seconds and plugged in again. 2 hrs of charging. Good thing it’s in a hotel.

Don’t know if it’s been posted yet, but the extra 18-month cash is available in California now.

Varies based on trim, but for example the Platinum+ is $4,340 18-month cash + $1,000 select inventory + $7,500 lease cash = $12,840.

Add $1,000 for loyalty = $13,840.

How does one contact ARIYA personal assitant and also get some of those freebies that others had posted previously? Is there something I need to do post transaction?

Free wallbox

  • Are you east coast? In particular one of those States
  • You need a Vin and the website, it’s posted above I think

Free Charging,

  • Download the EVGo App and register for the free charging.

The “Personal” Assistant should reach out to you via the email you provided when you acquired the car after a week or so of ownership.

I never received any of the ARIYA swag (mugs, etc…) that others have posted, but I’ve also never communicated with my assigned PA.

That makes me wonder if I should wait here in Virginia.

I’ve been sniffing around on some 36/10 options using the available $8500 (plus my $1k loyalty). But if there’s a chance that something better could be coming down the pike to our area, maybe I should hold off (?)

VA dealers are not playing the ball. Reach out to Maryland folks - there were discount ~10% MSRP before incentives I was offered on Platinum.

What we think about RV for next month for 2023 models. Nissan announced most 2024 trims will be 6k less. That’s gotta crush the 23s.

Still seeing 2,000+ new 2023 models nationwide on Autotrader, so that would be an argument for keeping lease support around the same next month. But who knows, no matter what they’re going to take a bath on them, it’s just a question of whether it’s now with incentives and trunk money, or later with inflated RVs. For an EV in this market any RV over ~40% is inflated.

I just noticed my Ariya has no armrest storage. I understand there is a pop down tray on the dash, but there isn’t much room in there. Any suggestions for adding secure storage in/under/near the arm rest?

This picture posted above shows someone using a cooler instead of the $150 Nissan tray

I use a basket I bought at the 99c store, but it’s a little too tall and the secret cubby hits it.

I was sure by looking at the armrest there is a storage underneath. did not even cross my mind that large thing is just sitting there in the middle of the car with 0 use. Not sure why but Nissan really screwed up here
