It’s too bad. The direction they are going with the current crop of MBs is quite nice. This isn’t a good departure.

Agreed. Truly felt that MB was one of the industry leaders, especially in design. Now it seems they are trying to re-invent the wheel (by copying others), pun intended. Exterior Genesis, interior Avalon. Can’t decide which I hate more…

OMG are there two binnacles in front of the driver like a 2012 Honda Civic?
There’s a gauge-cluster screen, but I don’t think anyone knows what the gigantic binnacle is behind that. Seems angled incorrect to be a “direct” display for the driver.
I wonder if it’s for HUD/augmented reality.

Most of these “luxury” cars look bad in base model but man does this look horrible without any “M” design.
