Need help deciding if I should go for Porsche or Jaguar ($901/mo vs $633/mo)

I’ve got two deals on the table for a Porsche Cayman and Jaguar F-Type

Should mention both are sort of rare colors so that might influence the price (Miami blue with Carrera S black rims for Porsche and Ultra Metallic Blue with black rims from Jag)

Based on prestige and looks, I’m really wanting to go for the Porsche
Based on price, I’m liking the Jag

For a Porsche, I think this is a decent deal.
For the Jag, it’s ok.

I’ve attached the numbers below.

Let me know which one you guys think is the better value. $901/mo is Porsche obviously. The Jag is $633/mo

Get the Jag…
For 30% less ita a no brainer

How about you have both the Porsche and the 30% lower payment?

New 2018 Porsche Cayman Lease Offer-- $599 per month!

Lease for $599 per month | 39 months | 7,500 Miles Annually

$0 Down Payment

Subject to Tier 1 Credit Approval & alternative annual mileage options are also available.

Miami blue is such a good color. The 718 really is one of the best out there currently, but for me, I would be in the jag at these prices.

I can help you score a better deal on both cars.

why are you going for a base F type at this price? if you like the color, try these.

ask if this is still available… https://www.jaguarcary.com/vehicle-details/new-2017-jaguar-f-type-convertible-auto-s-british-design-e-cary-nc-id-13684037

i tried negotiating with these people but they were not budging… granted i only emailed an internet sales rep. this was over a month ago. if still available they may be desparate. talk to sales manager.

What did you offer them?

Do you have any coupe deals? I like the back of the coupe whereas the convertible doesn’t have it

For a Miami blue 71k MSRP. Nobody will give me that for $599 with $0 down

Is the color of a car is worth a 50% higher lease cost to you?

whoever answers yes to that question doesn’t belong on this forum :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::rofl::sunglasses:

Ya seriously just wrap it and now you have a custom plot plus the wrap will work as paint protection for the life of the vehicle. Way lower payment, unique color, paint protection. Michael Scott would be proud, win-win-win.

a dealership pops :champagne: for a customer like that, paying big $$$ extra for a color

As they say, “a fool and his money …”

The paint is $70 more per month than standard colors. That wrap would need to be special kind which is more money so that it doesn’t affect the paint underneath.
You’re not going to lease a $72,000 Porsche for $599 $0 down period. That number doesn’t exist.
If you want a cheap car then go lease a toyota.
This car specifically has the options I want.

Some of you are spending twice the price just for 40 more horsepower LOL

Find me a wrap place in SoCal that would be cheaper than the $70/mo 36 months for Miami Blue Porsche and I will do it right away. They have to use specific wrap so that it doesn’t affect the paint underneath which is more money. I don’t see where some of your logic comes from.

Are these both base models?

No you can see the MSRP of both in the images I provided in first message

Porsche is $72,000 but MRM is $71,000
Jag is $75k

Not sure what your point is? You can have a base model with fancy paint and options that raises the msrp but it’s still a base. Is the Jag a base?

A base Cayman is still better than 99% of the cars out there. So, there’s that.

Jag is a V6

And unfortunately also leases worse than 99% of cars out there …
