Most expensive *new car ever....Bugatti La Voiture Noire

Can’t wait for the MF’s and residuals looool

Love Bugatti. That car looks like it will be awesome…the exhaust though :open_mouth: :open_mouth:

*new car.

It is still only a fraction of the price of the most expensive car ever.

Probably the closest thing I have seen to a Batmobile.
18 M though com’on man!

True true forgot about these Ferrari GTO’s

Ik . I’m not sure I would ever spend that on one vehicle (thought most of us couldn’t afford the sales tax, let alone the car LOL). I would have an entire fleet of vehicles at home…for half of the price!

I honestly think these elite car companies are now trying to out do each other with who can slap the highest sticker price on a car. This seems to be the trend in the last decade. This car isn’t worth $15 million US dollars. To be honest it’s not even worth a million. It’s just that some fool is willing to pay what they are asking is why they are making cars now multiple millions.

do you think I can get this for $500 a month with driveoffs?

Love most of the LH community. But there are a few who are really weirdly focused on income and what others do with their cash. Odd. It’s a bad look, in my opinion.

Anyway, cool car, probably not for me

How do you know?

The research and development and manufacturing costs are high on these types of hyper-boutique cars. They’re selling only one of them and it looks quite different from a “regular” Chiron. Looks as if the wheels themselves are 3D printed, if not then the cost would be even higher.

Bugatti isn’t making this car for free. There is a cost associating with developing, designing, building, marketing, and shipping cars. There will only be one model built to offset the cost of development.

Ran into the same issue when Northrop Grumman built the B-2. The USAF had originally ordered something like 130 B-2s to replace aging B-52 aircraft. That number dwindled down to 20. To compensate for the reduced order, the price of each aircraft exceeded 1.5bn dollars. Originally, they were supposed to be 5x less than that. NG had to make their money back somehow.

Making cars isn’t cheap or easy, is what I’m trying to say. I don’t think it’s a game of just “let’s charge more and more,” rather a game of “What can we do differently from our competitors to stand apart; regardless the cost.”
