Most expensive *new car ever....Bugatti La Voiture Noire

almost pushing 7, depending on your state. :open_mouth:

If I’m not messing up, I get:

12 million pounds = 15,771,516 USD

Here in Irvine 7.75% (I think!) = 15,771,516 * 0.0775 = $1,222,293 in tax.

Should I pay that up front or roll into the lease payment?

:bat:

I am surprised no one volunteered to put this vehicle in the calculator…
The RV on this car would be above 100% I am sure as this car would appreciate over time.

But for the sake of the exercise here you go…2% discount based on exchange rate

Don’t forget to get BugattiCare…it’s only $750,000, but adds 1 percent to the residual.

If you’ve ever read an article about maintenance on Bugatti, it will blow your mind. Here is just one of many articles on it: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/09/18/a-bugatti-hypercars-oil-change-costs-as-much-as-buying-another-car.html

Plus, most insurers won’t touch the car.

My guess is this will be zooming around Knightsbridge by Memorial Day!

In a way I find these cars kind of sad. They never actually get used and driven. I predict in 10 years time this will barely have more than a couple of thousand miles on the clock. I’ll also predict it’ll spend most of it’s life in a pristine garage in a desert somewhere.

BUT, It’s a good PR tool for Bugatti and if cars like this keep the brand alive and the very idea of a 1500bhp, 8.0-litre, quad-turbocharged, 16-cylinder engine which has actually been built…then great.

My guess is it will never see the light of day except for being trailered to a Concours

C’mon, don’t be sad, someone got to crash one of these.

Well providing they don’t allow Richard Hammond to drive it, it might remain in one piece.
