Yeah, there goes my “cheap” insurance.
Time to post in the LH insurance thread about how it’s a scam that your premium will go up 8x if you claim a hit and run.
Man wtf, that is upsetting.
Yeah I am super upset. My wife wanted to take the new X7 so glad she didn’t. I would have filed divorce by the time she got home lol
Setting up my new EQS and noticed while there was no data plan I am able to pair apple music (CarPlay does not stream atmos) and even use YouTube mobile “app”. But when I open the browser itself it asks me to buy data plan. On MB forums this was also reported: Online music working without data plan? - MBWorld.org Forums
Looks like they did not set up the gateway properly
If you were at a restaurant, ask them if they have cameras in the parking lot. You never know if they got a shot at the car/plates.
Officer already asked but he’s going to talk to valet today to see if anyone saw anything. Paint transfer was a green blue car so he said probably easy to track down via traffics light cameras
Did Guard 360 not pick up anything?
Where was this? Philly?
I had the option for photos off apparently so it didn’t take pics.
Valet said it was a party bus that backed into it. Cops will need to look at cameras surrounding area to get it
lol NC
Def not Philly ![]()

Guys how many kwh are you getting from benz wallbox? Im only getting 8-8.5, is this right?. I was expecting 10-12kw
My wall box set for 48A
The EQS draws 9.7kwh
The Tesla draws 11.5kwh
Thank you, learning as i go. I was assuming that with 48amp, plus a 60 breaker. I was gonna be around 11-12 kw. Didnt know every car is different.
If i did change charger to a wallbox pulsar 48 hardwire. Will that make a difference?
Unlikely, I’m assuming that your limiting factor seems to be the car, not the charger…
If your current setup is 48A charger, is will allow your car to draw up to 11.5kwh.
If your car draws less, then there is not much you can do about it
Understand, im just making sure theres no issue. Due to the fact what they advertised saying if you have level 2 charger. You should be drawing X Y Z. Which thats not the case, its what the car takes.
im getting 8 or so. Def a misrepresentation of item from MB on this
The wallbox is not actually a charger, it’s a connector. The job of the connector is to power the onboard charger, which is always installed in the vehicle. Your connector is able to supply up to 48amps of power, but that will be limited by the capability of the charger. This is how Mercedes describes the EQS charging specification on the website. Note that 9.6 kW is 40amp at 240v.
