Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 2

The link says I’m eligible. If I accept, do I lose my EA credit?

For MY25, all I know is from here : Electric Vehicle Charging Resources | Mercedes-Benz USA

It says you make the choice at time of purchase.

In the attached PDF, it says that you get $1k applied to your meCharge account via ChargePoint. I’m guessing you just see it in your ChargePoint balance. If you have this already, I doubt they are going to take it back if you request the WallBox, but who knows.

Surprising to me, it say the $1k is not for EA only, but all CPOs in meCharge network.

These things charge like a beast. Such a flat curve. Peaked at 210 kW and stayed close to it from 8% up to 80%.

Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt for Mercedes loaners. Do dealers list them on cars.com or similar platforms? I’m hoping to lease an EQS sedan or SUV soon and keep my monthly payments under $700, excluding taxes, with no down payment. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Mercedes of Colorado Springs had a bunch of demo/loaners recently for their EQ line. It may be worth looking at their webite to see current inventory and initial posted discounts.

Thank you!

I use autotrader. If you want to find demos I search for cars with only a few thousand miles on them

MY24 EQ’s all came with a flex charger (does level 1 and 2 with included adapters) and 24 months of free EA charging

Anyone have any experiencing w lemoning these eqs’s. Car has been out of service for almost 45 days. 30 consecutive ones and then the rest are visits for random smaller issues. Went in for the same issue twice just got the car back today and it was fine for a while until issue started happening again. I leased the car as a loaner from a PA dealer but registered in NJ. How do I go about this. Do I contact Mercedes and ask for buy back or go directly to an nj lemon law lawyer?

Look at your state’s lemon laws, keep receipts, dates for everything, if it qualifies send email’s to Dealership and Corporate. Lawyer is probably best.

No experience, just what i gathered while looking into lemon law cars for Mercedes.

I had a car from a different manufacturer that was a lemon. I sent a letter certified mail to the company’s general counsel because that’s what my home state rule said to do.

The manufacturer applied the law of the state of purchase, not of registration, which was actually more consumer friendly.

I don’t know whether there is a priority for one state or the other…

PA appears to have a 30 day rule: https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/protect-yourself/consumer-advisories/automobile-lemon-law/

NJ appears to have a 20 day rule: https://www.njconsumeraffairs.gov/News/Brochures/Lemon-Law-Road-to-Relief-Brochure.pdf

You’ll want to check each state’s rules and make sure to follow the notification rules.

where to find current EQS 680 deals in ca?

You missed it by about two weeks. Brokers were listing pretty good deals on them, but you needed Loyalty.

Looks like, but I started looking around just this week

Yea that’s the most recommended one by people I’ve asked. Funny enough they own lemonlaw.com. Will give them a call tomorrow and see what they say

Can someone explain what eco charging does? Does it trickle charge? If turn it on the charging is always paused and says it will be complete at 230am. Its charged in the morning but no idea when it chsrges

Do you have departure time set ?

Yea have it set to 5am and car is charged by 2:30am but I still charges at the full rate. Just seems like it waits to charge. I don’t get the point, is it stoping and starting the charge? Is it ramping up to a faster rate through the night? It def does not just go to a slower rate.
