Well, my i4 eDrive 35 was supposed to have a 230 mile range when new. But lately as the SOC drops, the glide path of range it implies I can go would be about 160 miles.
The problem is at a claimed 100% SOC, it still estimates over 200 miles. There simply isn’t a good way a normal auto-owner-loser would ever be able to prove the kWh in the battery and range obtained. Most homeowners and drivers aren’t electrical engineers. Plebes won’t have the time to do some controlled tests to assess energy inflow/outflow and duration travelled.
