Nice! Another opportunity for people to join the party!

Found the numbers. EQS 450+ SUV 10k/36 are now at .00227 MF and 54%.

Just as MFs went down, so did RVs. It’s a wash, nothing to see here. No effect in payments, bummer.

You should look at the mfs for other trims like the .00108 on the eqs580

That’s on the SUV or sedan?

I saw the sedans were better (understandable, nobody wants them), but if SUVs are down to MF .00108 that’s amazing!!!

EQS 580 and EQE AMG for under 1k for 36 months is a bit tempting.

I would push for more than 20% on loaner 580
But if the car has certain specific features you love, then you have to decide how much $100/month matters to you, as that might be the difference between what you have and what you might hope to get.

Nice segway to what I wanted to tell people about this.

The 580 is a better deal now, and dealers are flooded with them. This will help unload them.

However, you should know that when I drive the EQS SUV, I feel like I’m in a hybrid between an SUV and a minivan. Not quite either of them, a mutant that has meshed both. Don’t get pissed, but it’s a soccer mom/dad car. There, I said it!

If you expect more “sportiness” or anything like that with a 580, I’d taper those expectations. You’ll own the same mutant, but with a faster 0-60 time, fewer miles of autonomy, and a 3 screen setup masquerading as a theater screen.

$100 extra a month is not much and myself I don’t even know what I would pick given the choice. To be within $100 to a comparable 450+ you need a ridiculous discount, something like 20-21%. Probably possible though.

In short, if you expect you’ll get a sportier car when going to 580, that won’t be the case. This car does not drive like an X5 or a Cayenne. Don’t get me wrong, I really like this car, but I don’t drive it full time (wife does). And she values luxury and comfort more than driving performance. And when I say performance, I mean cornering and sporty feeling, not 0-60 times.

This is my opinion, I understand many won’t agree though!

I didn’t mean 580 to be $100 more than 450 ( although that would be nice)
I meant if the OP was being offered 20% off and was wanting to have more, the difference between what he has in hand and what he wants to be able to get is likely not going to be more than $100/mon

But I fully agree with you point, neither of them are performance cars ( they weigh over 6000) but are great luxury routine use cars ( soccer Mon/dad)
580 is nice but in my opinion, not worth paying significantly more than a 450.

We have a 450 and a 580, and while I think the drive of 580 is nicer, I think 450 is good enough.

The 580s higher starting price would also mean those looking for unicorn pricing 600+ pricing is gone.

Unless it’s a loaner. I hadn’t seen the program because I am on mini vacay til 4th, but this is getting interesting

I have a dealer telling me they can still do a 13 month on an EQS 580. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

Question regarding electrify America charging for my EQS loaner lease - if the 2 year electrify america complimentary charging ends during my lease term, do I by any chance get 30 minute session free charging or gotta pay for the entire thing?

Thank you.

No one said they weren’t available anymore, they just aren’t the cheapest term to go with now.

You can do 13 month on every vehicle

Dealers aren’t going to do it. They will just wholesale it before the year ends. They aren’t that stupid.

I don’t have all the numbers available so I apologize. Long and short I have a dealer that has $106,000 580 EQS sedan with 2885 due signing they are saying the payment will be 630 a month with a 7.5% tax included for 13 months. Once they call me back, I will get exact numbers but trying to figure out if I should push for a 25 or 36 month instead of the 13.

Check with the dealer once again. September RV changed from August

580 cannot be that cheap.
