Geez, mine was $105,810, 580 should be at lease 127k
I have the same car and I don’t agree. Curious to what trim you have? I have exclusive. Maybe that’s the difference. Rear Axel steering alone makes this car handle a lot smaller than it is.
Sure doesn’t look like a 580 badge to me.
Haha 450+, kinda regret it because it isn’t 4Matics
Apologize it is a 540 plus after clarification with dealer
I think this is a 106xxx eqs450 no? also, the 13 months residual have dropped substantially from 73% to 68% which is going to jump your payment to the low 1k… even at a net net deal or even a straight loss its 1k with 2885. standard rate also went up a smidge. try for new programs… this seems like an august program they’re using.
Looks like we are saying the same thing. No way this EQS SUV 580 can lease for $600s, loaner or not. If this model I just provided is at around $1,000 with 21% discount, dealers would have to go really deep.
That said, I have been offered a 580 SUV loaner at 23% discount last month. But they had only one and it sold in like a day.
I have rear axel steering. Just makes it more comfortable for three point turns, not more agile.
It turns well, but it’s still no sporty SUV.
What in particular do you not agree with? Have you cross shopped/compared with an X5 or an iX, for example? Night and day.
I’ve had an X6, Escalade, Range Rover Velar, and a Cayenne to compare it to. The ride for me is in between an X6 and Velar. And for the record rear axle steering does make a vehicle more agile. Look it up.
But like you said we all are entitled to our opinion. For me it handles great. I have an i7 as well. Prefer the SUV.
where is the rest? all I am saying is to have them check the latest program for September. I did similar numbers last month for people on this forum with 2k drive. but this month thats not happening.
Where is the rest?
You are right about the rear axle turning, apparently it should help turning. I can’t feel the difference in the turns, but I can on the three point turns when comparing it with a car without it. Maybe this car would not turn well at all if it did not have it. It does now.
But I did not say that this car does not drive well. It drives great as a comfortable, large SUV. It’s just that I feel people see the 580 and will expect a “performance” car, which it definitely is not. It will go fast on a straight line, that’s it.
And regarding your comment between this car and your bimmer. I mean, yeah. the i7 is a boat (it’s longer, isn’t it), like this car. I am not saying it does not handle well, it is just not sporty.
I’ve had an X6 and an X5. They are completely different in how they drive. Different cars. My opinion, of course.
But let’s agree to disagree. I just encourage everyone to read the countless reviews available about this car and test drive it to understand the way it drives. That’s all.
And like I said, I love the car and how comfy it is! Nothing wrong with it.
Waiting on the details… I’ve asked a few times to confirm exact figures and ensure these aren’t based on august…
Well, if it is over 40 mins…
I completely agree with your review, the EQS is a modern day EV land yacht, the smoothest ride. Changing the ride settings does make a slight difference but it is in no way a “sporty” ride. It definitely drivers smaller than it looks, I always overshoot parking spaces
The weight makes a huge difference and you can feel it at times. The plus is knowing in an accident I have a better chance of winning.
My wife drives it mainly and does the soccer mom thing, commutes to the office and loves the car. Its perfect for her driving and lifestyle, cruising along quietly on the phone. It makes everyone think we want both a highend luxury car and are environmentally friendly, I just wanted the payments.
450+, not 540
“Autopilot” on the EQS is way better (https://youtu.be/Ps-Ep58NBiM?feature=shared)
