Mercedes Benz EQS Lease Superthread - 1

Try All State. I got a good deal for my EQS. I’m also based in south florida

With the Tesla price cuts Mercedes has no choice but to respond. I don’t care how nice the interior is, I’m not paying a substantial premium for an EQS 580 SUV when I can get a Model X Plaid for 90k new and much lower gently used.

Mercedes either has to drastically cut prices or most potential customers will wait for the used market to be flooded. This EV price war is going to crear wondful opportunities for buyers over the next 12 months.

I would rather lease an EQS SUV for ~$700/mo than an X at over $1k/mo.

While dealer networks have their faults, lease discounting is much better than Tesla walled garden leases.

And I prefer the physical controls.

The pricing is not even close on these two for leasing them.

An “equivalent” Model X to that $700 or $800 EQS SUV costs about $1,300. Ridiculous. And you get all the isht materials and over engineered doors as opposed to the droopy bullet shape from the Merc.

You bring up an excellent point. Tesla’s lease deals are hilariously bad. These price cuts are only advantageous for those financing or paying cash particularly if they are below the income limits for the tax credit.

With that said, I’d say the Model X equivalent is the EQS SUV 580 due to similar performance. I still haven’t seen any non Cali 580s below $1000

IMO the 450s should be below $700 and 580s below $1000

I did, they were right around the GEICO pricing.

I actually thought Progressive made a mistake they were so low, I ran through the numbers 3 or 4 times.

Shouldn’t lease a Model X, just buy it bare bone(which comes with vent seats/air suspension) and finance it, for $72500, what could you ask more?

I think EQE needs to go even lower now, remember not every EQ sold for the deals on this forum, there are people paying normal price for these EQ, they will consider Tesla, then MB must push more incentives to sell these.

there is not bare bone model x or s. All you can do is choose color, wheels, and seat color. I can’t believe people would spend that much and get those cars, but I’m glad they are because it gives people a better chance of getting a better deal on cars like the iX and EQS

Mercedes-Benz dealership would not stay in EQ business if selling it that way.

 bare bone = 20’’ wheels and 5 seat

do we know how the 13mo program changed for Sep? i have a feeling this is the month for EQ deals!

Word on the street is they all got worse.

if that is the case, they are just winding it up for even bigger deals later this year or early 2024

The EQS mania seems to be over :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

Barebones is $80k per current prices. The problem is that prices for this car move like stock prices. In the last 15 days I’ve seen different configurations and price points offered. Their price points are as volatile as the TSLA stock price.

Regardless, I get that inferior models are cheaper. My point is that an EQS SUV is a superior product than a Tesla. This is obviously my opinion, but the Merc is in a different league. I must clarify that I have not had any issues with mine yet. I might change my opinion later if I do…

It was bound to happen, I had a feeling that this would be the case. I had tabs on several dealers and their inventory had been decreasing considerably. EQSs were flying off the shelves (the SUVs). nobody wants the sedans.

36 months seem to be the new 13

Has it decreased or is it the same as last month Derek?

Nice incentivized money factors now available for 24+ months.
