Mazda 3 Sport $0 OTD for $298.81/month (including tax) 12k/36 months

Hey guys,

Is this a good deal?

$20,235 MSRP
$8701.05 Lease end Value (43% residual value)
.00001 Lease Factor
$298.81 Monthly Payment
$0 down – Sign and drive.

She does indeed love the car and her budget was $300/month – Just wanna get this thing as low as possible.

Thanks much guys.

You need to give more details (sales price, incentives, location/tax, etc).

wow those are low residuals.

Is this the only choice you have for model? For example, BMW 320i is often found for less: 2018 BMW 320i Loaner, 265 + tax, 45k MSRP, TDAS = tax, bank, doc, and first month. Zero Down Payment! NY/NJ/PA

Or, check out soCal VW / Subaru lease deals - some below $200, if price is important… VW and SUBARU Lease Hacker Deals for June! SOCAL

I’m not an expert here, but I’m pretty sure you could easily get into a better car for the same $$, or significantly lower for a similar car…

If she’s in love with the car, you can buy a CPO 2014 or 2015 that’s higher end and have a similar or lower payment. It makes a lot more sense to buy one of these than lease one

What’s the selling price? Mazdas don’t lease very well, and they have rather weak incentives.

That doesn’t sound that good. I’m 24 months in on a 36mo/36K lease 2016 Mazda 3 in SoCal, and paying $250 including tax on a $0 drive off.

No, it’s not a good deal. That class of car should really be around 200/mo, 500 DAS including taxes and fees. I would say the Mazda6, Accord, Camry is a much better deal at around $300/mo. I know that before you could have gotten a base Camry for $225/mo with like $1k DAS. Don’t know what their programs are like now. My favorite car in the class is the Accord, but they don’t really lease out, so you’d have to finance it. The Optima and Sonata are really nice cars for the money and can often be had in lower trims for under $200/mo with $1k DAS.

Terrible deal. I’ve gotten qoutes in mid to low 200s for the 3 sport.

Thanks for all the help guys – Went back and told them to come down more.

I’ve been looking at the Camry SE, Sonata Sport, and Kia Optima… all in the same price range. To me they’re all the same and she doesn’t care so long as it’s “cute” and doesn’t leave her on the side of the road.

We are in Las Vegas so going to CA for a good deal isn’t out of the question either.

Any advice on where to go from here? Fielding so many offers from so many different dealers is making my head spin – starting to think I’m doin’ this wrong!

Again - thanks for lookin out!

For a toyota, you could talk to @Cody_Carter

I’m not sure if he does out of state deals

Look at Cody’s spreadsheet for the Camry pricing and if he doesn’t do non-CA then try to get that locally

Both @chevysalesgirl and @Cody_Carter do not do out-of-state deals. You can try getting a local dealer to match their deals, but that might be hard if the incentives are different or your area just isn’t as competitive.

Thanks!

Where can I find Cody’s spreadsheet?

Found a Camry SE for $300/month $0 OTD at the dealership right next to me. But again, we are in Las Vegas.

It is a nice car… better bang for the buck than a mazda; no doubt.

Message him and he will send you a link.

 hi.

Sorry no out of state deals but i have a contact in Vegas.

Msg me for link to spreadsheet. It will give you idea.
