Looking for SoCal window tint recommendations

Recently used Rob’s Tinting at Culver City out of convenience and proximity to my office.
I paid about ~$300 for 3M Color Stable 35% all around for my X2.

or

i see these in cars all the time

Interesting. Definitely an option although can’t see the wife being thrilled with them. Have to decide if the real tinting is worth it.

Found a tint guy offering full car including windshield for some good prices.

3M Crystalline - $450
Dub IR - $350

Crystalline for 450 including windshield sounds too good.

Also out of curiosity how much is the actual material cost per car? Anyone know?

That’s what I also wonder… sounds way too good. I can’t find the wholesale pricing, but I do see ebay pricing. Wonder if they have a MAP and restrict prices though so who knows what the wholesale pricing really is.

Care to share the contact?

Is this still available ? is it via film kings?

Yeah I’m sure he’ll honor it if you get another person to do same day

If any of the vendors here are still doing the $225 Rayno S7 deal, I’m interested. I’m assuming that’s for 5 windows?

I would be interested in the same deal for S7 if still available.

Yeah, he ended up raising his prices, and now telling me he misquoted me. $450 is without windshield, with windshield was $650.

450 is still pretty good for crystalline

I got my car tinted this week at Red Island Pro Tint. Amazing service and good work. Here are the prices:
RAYNO S5 $180
RAYNO S7$280
RAYNO S9$380(best)
Windshield strip on top $20
Front Windshield $150
About 90mins finish

They are located in Rosemead

Had a couple people I know get the DUB IR, tint looks good, they were very clean and neat when they did it. No bubbling that I see. It’s just a lease so I said forget about the crystalline!

Looking for recommendation for window tints please.

Have you tried this thread?

Isn’t this that same thread?

Yup. That’s the point.

Thoughts from Leasehackrs…follow the 70% VLT regs on front door windows, or just play the odds of getting a fix-it ticket? A lot of the cars I see on Swapalease.com have really dark front windows…
