Lexus GX460 lease

This is the initial offer I’ve gotten from the dealer and to me the numbers don’t seem to add up to the monthly. What am I missing?

MSRP: 56143
Sell: 51863
Rebate: 1500
Lic and tite: 164
Service: 297
Nitrogen/lexus guard/prime: 986
Due at signing: 0
MF: 0.00040
39/10
Residual 59%
Tax 5.6

Monthly 580.44

Tell them you will do MSD to lower the MF
Tell them you want the selling price to be 48k
Tell them you will pass on Nitrogen/guard/prime…
Tell then you will do 36 months/10k miles
Monthly = 450 …

Thanks. I thought Lexus was better to do 39 b/c they “cover” the last 3 months of the lease

Ask them for a 36/10 quote and you will probably see that is is cheaper by a few dollars. As for “covering” the last months of a long lease, this is a trick as old as Ursus. They will always say - don’t worry it is a 60 month lease but we will cover the last 24 months since Lexus always does a pull ahead. In the meantime, you are the one with the 720 payments

Plus the registration for the next year!

I just leased a 17’ GX 460 premium black black 58XXX and some change msrp.

Selling price 52,XXX 36m 12k yr.
$2200 down $2200 MSD so total $4400 out of pocket.
Plus dealer ate 3 payments and LFA ate 3 payments (6 total payments of $460).
$449.00 a month w/ lease protection.

I think your deal still has some room. Just my $0.02

perfect deal

Thanks! best part is it took 20 mins of negotiating. Sales manager walked over, told me “If I make you a deal you can’t refuse, will you shake my hand?” I said “show me the paper” and he did. 2 hours in and out. On a saturday at 10am no less.

Great deal. May I know where are you located?

Does that mean, you will only make 30 payments?

Yes. I only made 30 payments total

I think he is talking about his last lease

It look ks like if you factor the six payments Lexus and the dealer gave up and add the 2.4k to the deal, the gx460 can be had for 400 a month.

With his $2200 down, he essentially covered those remaining payments

If possible, can you please share the doc with all numbers, crossing out personal info? Thanks!

2200 down? Why not against msd?

3 payments were pull ahead

Tax, reg, and dealer fee were paid upfront, none of it went to cap cost reduction.

Firstly - thank you to the community for providing such great insight enabling the common folk to get great deals.

After reading the forums intently for several weeks, i was able to get a great deal on a '17 GX460. Specifically, i was able to get a Premium trim with $59k MSRP for $420 a month, with $0 drive-off (discounts included $2k in dealer incentives as well as $1k in grad discount). I did use $3600 in MSDs. It was a 45/10k lease. I don’t have the actual worksheet, but wanted to share the above.

If i paid the taxes and fees up front I believe i would have come a few dollars under $400 a month.

Thanks again for everyone’s help
