Tell them you will do MSD to lower the MF
Tell them you want the selling price to be 48k
Tell them you will pass on Nitrogen/guard/prime…
Tell then you will do 36 months/10k miles
Monthly = 450 …
Ask them for a 36/10 quote and you will probably see that is is cheaper by a few dollars. As for “covering” the last months of a long lease, this is a trick as old as Ursus. They will always say - don’t worry it is a 60 month lease but we will cover the last 24 months since Lexus always does a pull ahead. In the meantime, you are the one with the 720 payments
I just leased a 17’ GX 460 premium black black 58XXX and some change msrp.
Selling price 52,XXX 36m 12k yr.
$2200 down $2200 MSD so total $4400 out of pocket.
Plus dealer ate 3 payments and LFA ate 3 payments (6 total payments of $460).
$449.00 a month w/ lease protection.
I think your deal still has some room. Just my $0.02
Thanks! best part is it took 20 mins of negotiating. Sales manager walked over, told me “If I make you a deal you can’t refuse, will you shake my hand?” I said “show me the paper” and he did. 2 hours in and out. On a saturday at 10am no less.
Firstly - thank you to the community for providing such great insight enabling the common folk to get great deals.
After reading the forums intently for several weeks, i was able to get a great deal on a '17 GX460. Specifically, i was able to get a Premium trim with $59k MSRP for $420 a month, with $0 drive-off (discounts included $2k in dealer incentives as well as $1k in grad discount). I did use $3600 in MSDs. It was a 45/10k lease. I don’t have the actual worksheet, but wanted to share the above.
If i paid the taxes and fees up front I believe i would have come a few dollars under $400 a month.
