Could it be the push to EVs or the ugly designs? Or the simple fact that driving experience is far more automated than it used to be two /three decades ago.
Honestly I saw where @anon65069371 was getting the boomer vibes. I picked up a good bit of the “get off my lawn” or yelling at clouds vibe from your posts as well. I was surprised when you mentioned your age a few weeks ago.

m550 is an awesome Daily. The problem is what weekend car would good to pair with it? The m550 is faster than a 458 or even most huricans

My weekend car is my wifes X7 which does the rounds to target and occasional Home Depot (ToysRus for me actually as I spend 2 hours just to get AC filters) just fine lol.
Maybe in a straight line, which doesn’t always equate to more fun. I haven’t driven a 458 but the Huracan didn’t wow me like I had hoped. One you’re past the Lamborghini badge, I can find more passion-provoking cars… and at a lower entry price.
drove the 458 and fell in love back in 2019. Got a chance to take a huracan evo out for a night in port jefferson. Man the attention that grabs is insane.
I think the 458 drives better than the lambo.
I heard the 570s is better than both!

As I’m entering my 30s, I don’t know what I want anymore. I met my heroes and they really haven’t lived up to what I want. I always wanted a Porsche convertible sports car. It was just okay. I’ve driven some crazy cars like m3, SL63, Audi R8, TRX, etc. Yet nothing made me want to get rid of my BMWs SUVs to grab one.

I’ve always drooled over the 458… the aesthetics, the soundtrack, the Ferrari badge (of course). Again, having not driven one yet, but I would see the 458 being significantly more track/performance oriented over something like the Huracan. I would anticipate the drive to be better.
Meh, I know there are lovers of McLaren out there but I’m not one of them. That isn’t to say that they don’t make some great performers, because they do. I believe the 570s to be a great car - they’re just not for me.
They need to make 4 series programs better. 30% off is still like a 6 year LH Score lmao

I think my wife will kill me if I buy a 458 before a house.
Well, I had a 3RS allocation but I will give it to someone who will appreciate it more.
I think my attainable dream garage right now would be the GT4 paired with an M3 xDrive. I like the M4 better but I don’t need two 2-door cars.
