Looking to lease this Mercedes CLE 53 AMG and would value the community’s take on the lease terms. I appreciate it!
Wow… Texas + Benz + Autonation = insanity pricing. 0% off and with add-ons?
Are there any brokers that do Benz in TX?
Give me 10k and I’ll give you my 911 s cab that’s cheaper and has more miles lol.
This is awful. $63k to drive for a little over two years? You would be paying about $3.70 per mile to drive this. These payments are getting close to exotic territory.
Seriously bro? This is probably the worst lease I’ve seen. I just found a CLE 53 cab from Marietta, GA for 6559 off on their online price.
Dude get the M4 vert i just linked you
Low doc fee
Somebody is getting a nice
You can buy it for cheaper monthly. lol
I just realized the VIN in the quote is a loaner too.
$0 off a loaner?!!??!?!
That’s tariffic.
Or tariffying.
Is this an MSRP deal? Yikes.
@Yfc596 - we’re dunking on this lease proposal because it’s an amalgamation of everything bad that can happen resulting a massive overpay. Please do not sign it. You may need to shop a new dealer or brand since you appear to be at an AutoNation showroom and that’s basically an immediate dealbreaker in most situations.
The lease quote …
Has 0% discount off an inflated MSRP. Which is bad enough on a new car, but is beyond abhorrent on a loaner.
Is in Texas which had a massive tax burden (and lacks tax credits) since they tax the whole car and not just your payments
Has almost $1,500 of garbage add ons.
Has a marked up money factor.
Is on a convertible which is rarely if ever going to be a good lease structure.
Even if you aggressively negotiate out all the problems and get to a decent lease, most people on LH would still dunk on you since the lease will still be expensive (but not as expensive)… which means there are better places to spend money.
If you’re wed to the CLE53, your best bet is to negotiate a much better price then buy the vehicle financed by a credit union at ~4.5% APR. or wait for a gently used CLE53 on a CPO once they start appearing in used inventories.
Here’s an interesting target. 200 miles CPO originally sold in Flagstaff but financing probably fell through. Now it’s in Scottsdale. They are listing $10k less than the original MSRP and could have room to cut more.
Try to negotiate with no add ons and finance with a CU.
Has the OP been scared off?
AutoNation better buy you dinner first.
Hopefully he didn’t sign the dealer quote then come here looking for validation.
@li8625 missed out on this red one. Was languishing in Amityville Benz and they just turfed it to Indianapolis.
OP, have you seen the XM deal posted by insight auto?
I agree. Need to find a broker. In TX, lessees pay the full tax amount.
