Thanks for taking the time to break this down — I really appreciate the detailed feedback. Based on your points, I’m planning to counter with $5k down and ~$1,500/month (taxes included), with wheel & tire protection and the maintenance package rolled in. Seems like a fair ask given the structure?— let’s see how they respond.
I did not. Let me look it up, unless you have a direct link. Thx for responding
I did not sign it. Definitely seemed outrageous. Targetting a $5k down payment and $1.5k lease payment with wheel and tire protection and maintenance package
Not at all — this is exactly the kind of perspective I was looking for. Appreciate the straightforward input. Helps reset expectations and sharpen how I go back to the table. I’ll follow up once I have an update.
Definitely not — I came here before making any moves, specifically to gut-check the numbers. Appreciate the honesty from the community — exactly why I posted.
Appreciate you flagging this — interesting lead. I’ll reach out and see how flexible they are. I’ll likely go the credit union route as suggested.
It is. I also custom built this car and took 5 months to deliver
I actually looked into the M4 — not going to lie, the performance is solid, but I just can’t get behind the new BMW design.
Totally agree — that’s why I came here in the first place. I’ve been trying to figure out what a fair quote should actually look like relative to MSRP. That Marietta comp is super helpful
Out of curiosity — for a car like the CLE 53 AMG, would a fair cost per mile typically fall in the $1 to $1.50 range? Just trying to gauge what’s considered reasonable for a lease in this segment.
This car does not lease well. Not sure there is much you can do since it is a custom order.
This still outrageous. Have you found any data points on this site. Is Mercedes no longer offering tax credits? At the end of the day you’re pushing a square peg through a round hole on this one. If it’s what you’re heard desires then fine but just make sure you’ve considered all the alternatives as this type of payment can get you into a lot of cars.
That seems like a non-starter from both sides.
A. Why would the dealer suddenly discount a non-negotiated custom order by that much? Have you even calculated how much that much is?
B. As it stands now you can buy the car for $97k. Why would you spend $5,000 +$1,500 x 35 =$57,500.00 just to chuck the keys back in 3 years? This car is supposedly so special yet you’re going to pay such a premium just for the right to throw it back to them and walk away?
What do you mean custom order? Isn’t the one at autonation a loaner?
Hi OP,
My 911 will be up for transfer next month if you can wait. The payment is significantly cheaper than this – for a way better car
How does it have 5,715 miles on it then?
No clue, You should ask @Yfc596
Same here, but I’m going to undercut you on DAS, by $4.20…
It’s not a loaner. This is the actual VIN
W1KMJ6CB6SF079274.
The quote included another VIN pending car arrival
