Last Chrysler 300 Limited Edition (1 of 2000)

As some of you may know, Chrysler is stopping the production of the 300. For their last hurrah, they will be producing 2200 limited edition units for 2023. 200 are going to Canada and 2000 to us here in the states. These will have the big Hemi engine in them which you can not get along with some other cool stuff. I was lucky enough to get one of the 2000 (they sold out in 12 hours). My question is, Can I sell my allocation to just anyone, a broker or a dealer??? Don’t necessarily want to but for the right price I might. Not sure this was the appropriate place for this, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Is that really a vehicle that will be in high enough demand that someone would overpay for it?

Fair enough question…I think definitely so since they are stopping production, putting the 480 hp hemi in it and some other high performance goodies, sold out in 12 hours and are only making 2000 for the states. But this is why I posted this to get some feedback. A fair amount of guys and brokers on her flip certain cars, so maybe they are in the “loop” and can give their opinion. thanks

I really dont think this is going to be a flip candidate. Its just a fancy scat pack…with a body thats been around since 2015ish or before.

With a $55k starting price, time will tell whether this will be a flip candidate.

How much customization would be available? Could you say spec it to an MSRP of $70k +?

Here is more info about it:

Doubt anyone cares about these.

It’s like buying the last Oldsmobile.

they come fully loaded. the only thing u get to pick is the color…white, black or red…I selected white

give mopar a little bit of credit… besides they are also cancelling the charger and challenger…so no more hemi’s…im telling you boys these high output limited unit hemi’s will be worth a lot many years down the road. when there gone, there gone!

What exactly do you get? Just curious.

Heard it all before. As a future “collectible” you’ll want to pick one up in 10-20 years.

This reminds me of the guy who put his Mercury Marauder up on blocks to just start it once in a while, he even kept the plastic on everything because it was going to be worth a ton of money. Don’t get me wrong, I love those big dumb Panther bodies but it’s still a Mercury Marauder…

For a “limited edition” car, it does not have any original parts. How much are you expecting its value to increase in a few years? Do you plan to drive it much?

Then why are you trying to monetize and dump it before even taking delivery?

You do know you’re trying to sell this idea of “rarity” to forum regulars, half of whom have ordered Hellcat Chargers?

If you’re not convinced yet by all the comments, most of us think taking this car will be a horrible idea. If you put a deposit down, and can get it back, do so.

Most people who wants a V8 hemi will get a 392 charger

If you are sitting on an allocation for #1, I think you will do perfectly fine. #1867, I’m not so sure. Even in a run of only 2000, it’s usually only the first few that become collectible. We are still talking about a car full of mass produced parts. There is a reason the SRT team is transitioning to electric and I doubt it’s because they think they will produce an inferior product.
