No it was always XLE AWD that I wanted. Here screenshots of you agreeing to Ally return and then removing thumbs up after i pointed it out to you. And it was this specific deal with this dealer.

I said that my Philly dealer can take ally lease returns. Regardless it’s immaterial as I offered to deliver the car free without you having to take off work.

None of this makes sense except for you trying to get out of a deal you made. Why would you want to drive 6 hours round trip when the dealer would do that for you free? And ally would come pickup your lease again for free. All to your home.

We had this conversation all day and you agreed. My screen shots are above. I’m assuming you paid me and now your uncle doesn’t want to reimburse you for his indecisiveness.

Show screenshots of where you said that before i paid. Show screendshots where you said dealer is 4 hours away now instead of 2. Even with clear screenshots you deny agreeing to take ally back before i paid? Dude so hungry for money.

I did and showed where you admitted your uncle is just backing out of the deal bc he doesn’t know what he wants.

Instead of picking up and taking off work I offered to pay for the delivery at your convenience myself and told you ally will pickup the lease.

I admit that I thought they could take an ally lease return however never guaranteed that as I didn’t have a clear answer yet. When they said they can’t, I made it right and better for you. Just looking for a way out of a deal we locked in that’s all. You were fine with all this until uncle prob won’t reimburse you for wasting everyone’s time.

I’m more then happy to have the @trusted_hackrs settle this.

You are disingenuous. I said in conversation that I offered him different cars but in the end even though more expensive he decided for a toyota. Here are the screenshots of what I said to you and Ryan the salesman.

  1. Show where you said dealer is 4 hours away when all your first post says Philly. Did not find out till after dealer called.
  2. Now you say you admit to saying it about Ally when you kept insisting you never did and even tried to remove the thumbs up to hide that fact.
  3. Again offered free delivery after the fact but does not change the fact me and my uncle have to take off to get the delivery. Then take off to return the lease to Ally. Two days and extra phone calls and hassle. I had a local deal already 20 bucks more and went with you due to trust of leasehacker community and you offered TFS instead of credit union. But to deal with all these extra hassles for 1100 fee. Yeah, sorry does not seem fair.
  4. I told you I am ok with you passing this fee as a credit to a forum member and you said no. Sorry man that does not jive with me because it was your error with Ally lease return. Do not expect me to fix it and simply insist i agree to other alternatives. And no credit app at all. This was all within 3 hours. I would have been ok if you retained 250 for time, still wrong because your mistake but to lie to this extent for 500. I am a man of my word and I say it again, I do not want that 500 but you should not retain it for a few texts and changing the deal. I am ok if donated to the forum or someone that is hurting due to economy or other reasons takes.

And just as an side bar my uncle does not know that you kept 500. My offer stands to donate it. Be a man. Never seen someone twist and lie for 500 dollars. Tomorrow will reach out to the dealer and other steps. Just a matter of principle now.

Never once did I say it was in Philly. The initial fwd highlander was there and that’s the dealer I knew took ally returns, but I never told you that location either. We discussed that Feb 10th way before this current deal. And I never once said you can transfer plates, I said if they can they will several times.

You were ok with $250 delivery. Since we couldn’t take ally back I offered free delivery instead, not bc I had to, but as a courtesy, at a time convenient for you, nights weekend etc. Nothing about that was more inconvenient than you driving 5-7 hours round trip to either location including the one you assumed it was at. Had you said you were picking up I would have told you how far it was. You even just showed a message asking the dealer for delivery to!

This comes down to your uncle changing his mind for a 3rd time. I did all I can to keep the deal together it’s clear he just doesn’t know what he wants and you expressed your frustration with that. It’s not my fault at all.

You twist and turn to what fits your narrative. You tried to hide the fact about Ally lease and right there proven by my initial screenshot. Be a man and donate that money. It will make you feel good believe me. Do not twist stuff for 500. Have some self respect.

  1. Ally return was very important part of the deal. You lied and then tried to hide the evidence. That is a fact. See its simply a principle at this point. Money is not important to me before principles. Americans think everything is about money. Take that offer and donate it before I approach the dealer, NH AG office, dealer association, etc. It is a very ammicable offer.

Well considering you’re ESL. Prob=probably…

Do what you have to do I’m done. I bent over backwards for your fickle uncle on this deal. Show me a local deal on highlander awd you actually buy, to prove he’s not just changing his mind again, and I’ll donate it to the charity if your choice.

)

Again insulting my uncle. You are a child dude calling an older man names? Me and you talking here, no need to say things toward someone not here. Yes, I am ESL and glad to be. Admit you lied and be a man about it. You will feel better seeing yourself in the mirror. And act like other brokers here that are upfront. Do not use the same tactics like a dealership. We clear in the next steps. Enjoy that 500. Tubefshinilace

I first started contacting Jim in 2019. Inspection found large rust holes in my dear to me 2000 Tundra with 300k on the clock. Had I ever imagined Toyota would put a brand new frame under that thing, I wouldn’t have bugged Jim in the first place. Fast-forward to 2024 and my girlfriend finally wants to move on from her 2013 Civic that she leased then purchased through a local dealer who took major advantage of her ignorance to the process. By this point, I had done all the research I needed to do on Jim and convinced her that it’s not crazy to send a stranger a grand over the internet to secure a smokin’ deal. Our purchase was from the “in-transit” list.

3/21 sent deposit, dealer reached out same day
3/22 dealer sent info of 4/8-4/14 build & 4/24-4/29 delivery estimates
4/12 car built
4/18 car arrived at dealer
4/19 we picked up

As others have said, the experience at the dealership was quick and painless. I can only imagine the negative reviews are people who couldn’t make up or changed thier minds. We, just as Jim’s first post suggested, went and test-drove and did all our decision making as to which vehicle we wanted PRIOR to bugging Jim. If you do all that before contacting him, I can’t fathom how you’d be disappointed with the process. Girlfriend absolutely loves her SE - Thanks Jim!

Jim rocks! Sent him a text, got back a quote, said yes, and everything was locked in. I made the four hour trek up to Pennsylvania and was able to walk in, shake some hands, sign some papers, and was gone in under an hour.

Thank you for helping me find this beautiful Tundra at a great price! It’s perfect!

Enjoy looks great!

After getting my girlfriend a new Rav4 Hybrid SE through Jim’s process, I have to admit I was jealous. Then he posted a smokin’ deal on the Prime’s and I couldn’t help myself. Second time was even smoother than the first. I contacted Jim on Wednesday and picked the car up Friday morning. Literally in and out of the dealer in less than 5 minutes this time. Thanks again Jim!

A+++ rating for Jim
don’t know how he does it but he finds deals that you can not fathomably find on your own, I tried on my own with 4-5 dealerships locally.

went to Jim paid the fee, from first text to Jim to me having the car DELIVERED to my door step with all papers signed online took a total of 4 days.

I am pretty sure Jim is the Amazon Prime of car sales,
transaction was flawless
got me the rav 4 prime for a steal with that 6500$ toyota lese deal.
TFS buyout trick still works (except in FL) but still found a workaround for that.

  1. never stepped a foot into a dealership
  2. got a crazy deal, this was easier than buying a tesla

Very happy with my Tundra deal from Jim. Very easy to work, helped me find the right trim/options and save me more money. Dealer experience was easy (aside from the traffic but that’s not Jim’s fault as far as I know) Absolutely love the truck.
