Jeep Wagoneer S - Help?

Can someone tell me the score on this one?

I made a spreadsheet but it isn’t working

UPDATED HERE, still not great but getting better

The money factor looks a little too high. It should be 0.00038. That should bring the payment down. Also negotiable on the $1,700 in accessories.

Is the $3,720 DAS the TX sales tax? I don’t see it listed anywhere.

MF is marked up significantly looks like.

0.00117 is not a percentage it translates to something like 3% and should be around 0.3%

Aftermarkets is just garbage, maybe except tint.

What is rebates breakdown. What do u qualify for?

The dealership is a dealer that plays games.

If you love it. Fine. But honestly. I can’t stand giving business to dealers like this.

Marking up the money factor is straight dishonesty.

Then the garbage protection stuff. Absolutely not. It’s a lease. No way I’m signing that.

Shady dealers unless they have some insane price. No way I’m dealing with them.

marking up the money factor isn’t dishonesty, it’s just part of the cup game dealers play with customers. keep your eye on the ball under the cup

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a marked up mf if you have appropriately negotiated your deal. If anything, it only helps you by keeping your adjusted lease balance lower throughout the life of the lease.

It is only an issue if you go into the negotiations unprepared and let the dealership drive things. A marked up money factor without a commensurate discount only happens if you let it.

The only thing a hardline stance against marked up money factors does for you is close off levers that can be pulled to make an aggressive deal happen.

yes and the first months payment and dealer acquisition fee.

That Az deal is AMAZING! I am going to hold out. I got in touch with the NJ dealership over the weekend. I have been on the HUNT… Thank you

Conquest cash $3000 $7500 EV Tax I think I may be able to get a realtor discount of $500 and $500-1500 Jeep discount but still working on those.

Thank you, everyone is so helpful. This is my first time leasing. Until I found Leasehackr I wouldn’t have done a lease at all. I am still a noob LOL

they only accounted for $3000 + $7500 in the quote.

Ask for base MF, find extra 2k in incentives and ask the dealer to call the SFS and ask about tax credit exception for this vehicle. Sometimes banks can approve it even if they don’t have active promotion, at least some members here were able to successfully navigate such requests in TX.

if all checks out you might be looking at solid deal.

Also ask them to remove addons or replace it with something that makes sense at least. e.g. trailer hitch, maybe something else is useful for you.

$325 for key fob insurance. :joy:

Makes $280 to keep dirt off your camera lenses look like a bargain.

I am trying to get that removed currently and got them to keep the payment the same but come up to $10000 miles.

Just formulate an offer and present it politely on a take-it-or-leave-it basis.

Generally once you’re this far in, a deal is unsalvageable, but that doesn’t mean always.

What is the max you’re willing to pay? Determining this allows you to return to my first sentence.

I have not even let them run my credit yet.

I would hope not, you aren’t even close to agreeing to a price. Credit application always comes after that.

It doesn’t matter whether they take these things off or not, the car is worth the same with or without them.

I hope you take the advice in my previous post. Good luck with whatever you decide.

I tried that and I got a better version back!

How does this look???

$24 a month less terrible.
