The money factor on a 2023 for 24 months and 15 through CCAP is 0.00192 not 0.00057. So while they are marking it up, it’s not to the extreme you think.
It’s still 3.3x more.
How do you know that though?
I also tried using the calculator, and that’s over my head.
It’s about a 1.2x mark up on the money factor.
If you sign up for rate finder on the calculator it will give you all the rates and incentives
So, is this the right forum to ask about how to approach another dealer about a different GC? It’s the vehicle we’re honing in on…
If so, what would be the strategy and approach on the best that I could expect for a sign and drive lease on this give all the incentives and rebates on the GCs? https://www.hudsonchrysler.net/inventory/new-2022-jeep-grand-cherokee-4xe-summit-4x4-sport-utility-1c4rjye62n8746877/
If it’s not, sorry. I’m still learning the ways here.
Stop talking to dealers until after thr calculator isn’t over your head.
The most effective thing you can do to get a good deal is learn to set a target deal and be confident in how you get to that target deal. That means learning how to find the numbers that make up a lease and how to apply them.
Where/how do I learn?
Here is a great place to start: Video: Lease Like a Pro Using the Leasehackr Calculator — LEASEHACKR
Thanks. Super helpful.
How do I find the Residual Value, Money Factor, and Incentives data for a car lease?
Also, what Selling Price or discount should I target on a car lease?
In this case, a GC 4xe that has an MSRP of $62,155?
I’m trying to find out if I’m getting a good deal or not…
So here’s what I came up with (link to lease calculator results) note that I estimated Taxes, Title, Documentation Fees in the amount of $3000.
Here’s all the data I could find on the vehicle.
They quoted me $576 per month for 24 months, but by this calculator, I should be around $475 per month for 36 months or $675 for 24 months???. If you guys agree with my calculations, what’s my next step?
Looking for GC 4xe 2022 or 2023. Can someone suggest who can help me with good deals
Where are you located? There are many brokers in the Marketplace who can help.
St Paul, MN… Who could I reach out to?
to there there aren’t many options. Closest that comes to mind are Gupton in TN but they don’t have many in stock. The rest seem to be around east coast.
Use the calculator. Become a super supporter for a month. It’s worth it.
All the information you need will be available in the rate finder calculator.
And sorry for the misinformation on the MF. I thought this was a 2022.
If you have stellar credit, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to get the buy rate mf. Now, if they have given you a large discount of the MSRP, it may be worth working with them a bit, but not at 3x the buy rate.
You need the proper rv/mf/incentive information for these calculations. The ratefindr tool is the easiest way to get that info.
With the incorrect numbers being used here, your calculator values aren’t useful.
Thanks Jason. Can you take a peak at this post and let me know your thoughts on the numbers?
Or are you saying buy premium and then run them again for all the magic to happen?
I am in New Jersey. Morris county
Can you confirm the residual they are giving you? Just want to make sure I’m comparing apples-to-apples since I gave you the wrong info earlier.
I’m pulling up 52% residual with CCAP on a base model, 36 month/15k. Ally may be higher, but I’d be surprised if it was that much higher.
I am more familiar with the 2022 program since that is what I’m looking at, but, the incentives of $11,500 seem to be available with CCAP as well. Not sure why they are telling you Ally only unless there are additional incentives on top of the $11,500.
Ally tends to inflate their residuals and offset with a higher mf. Makes sure that you dont have any equity at the end hould you want to buy it out.
I’ll have to ask them for the residual as I’m not seeing they in the print off they have me. It’s not Ally, also, it’s through CCAP.
Just wanted to also say thanks. This forum is way better than Reddit where you go to get beat down. You guys aren’t making me feel dumb and are instead teaching me some things so again, thank you.
