Thanks, that is really helpful as you have listed it in a way I can compare to. I assume this is zero down (apart from tax and fees). I agree on the Flash being the better deal.
Money down as CCR is the same as money down for taxes and fees.
What’s the difference?
Understand theres no way around those must be paid upfront or rolled into payment. But anything extra its a waste. Car gets totaled or stolen that money is gone. Imo thats the way i look at it, try to take out little as possible, but yet grab as much as you can lol
Ok so doing a little digging and talking to another dealer, I’ve got an x plan pin. When plugging it into ford’s build and order website it lists AZX Plan in payment breakdown and customer cash for $1,750 and another for $7,000 to reduce capitalized cost. I talked to a dealer today and they said only the $1,750 will apply and they won’t do the $7k. Is this a thing?
The $7K is for retail purchase, the $1750 is for lease (RCL). To get Xplan rebate, dealer must offer the Xplan price, which is less then the suggested discount target. Xplan doesn’t help here.
That makes sense. So I’m better off without x plan. I’m in no rush to lease, are there usually better incentives after the new year? And how can I get a private offer?
Firstly just want to say how much I value this site and comments on this thread. I am new to this and learning. I am trying to work out what is a reasonable proposal to send out to dealers on a 2024 Flash, 36 months, 10k/year. I have become a supporter and using the calculator. z0lt3c has highlighted I should expect at least $4500 in dealer discounts and $5500 rebates ($3500 RCL and $2000 power cash, I don’t think I am eligible for any of the conditional rebates). I get a monthly lease of $518 before taxes and fees with those assumptions. I have checked but can’t find any “clean” recent deals on this site that I can compare to (the couple of 2024 lightning deals seem to have dealer mistakes). Ford/dealers seem very motivated on Lightnings so I am trying to gauge whether I should be more aggressive and include an additional $2000 discount, but I also want to do a deal!
Make sure you check days on lot. If less than 30 they are not inclined to discount.
Also if you can wait 90 days buy a Mustang club membership $35 and get a substantial discount after the 90
I am working with a local dealer that have come down to $502.51 a month before tax etc on a $71,xxx flash. Stated a new incentive was dropped today that was another $2k off of the $5500. This includes a 62% rv, .00036667 MF (.88%) and a dealer fee of $998. You can use this as a reference in your bargaining.
Is that zero down? Mine gave me a laughable 8xx after 2k down on a 71k flash
I can confirm that Ford just added an additional $2K to the rebate stack for Lightning ($5500 to $7500). Should drop the Flash monthly by about $55 and get it under $500 plus ttl. With a private offer or conquest, will be even lower.
It is first month das.
Update for you all, signed a 2024 Lightning XLT 36 month, 12k miles per year lease for $329/month with trade in equity of $4k. Thank you all for the help, found the right dealer and got a great price!
