I missed the Bolt deal because I did not have a Costco membership. Is the Bolt deal a common deal that will happen again? I really wont use the membership and I would hate to waste 60 dollars.
Itās $60⦠thatās nothing. Really no better place to shop than Costco
Costco is awesome! Bolt or no Bolt I am sure youāll find it worth $60.
Thereās a lot of people who donāt have Costco memberships because āthey donāt need to pay for a membership to shop thereā or they ādonāt need that much foodā without realizing how much you can save on even a few items.
Completely worth it IMO as they generally have good deals on cell phones, computers, appliances + extended warranties included with the Costco credit card (no annual fee)
The car deals are few and far between, but itās very easy to justify the $60 fee, especially when you consider Costco.com in addition to the local stores.
No one knows if the Bolt deals will happen again.
I hate shopping at Costco, and avoid it for all but a short list of quality items that actually save us money. It doesnāt take long to recoup $60.
Just donāt be the guy who goes in with just ribeyes and crumbled feta on the shopping list, who then leaves with a gallon of organic grundle moisturizer and a wine fridge.
I feel attacked.
Seriously.
Last time we went to Costco to get bacon, vodka and frozen pizzas - we left with a couch on top of the van.
AHA! The āweā is the problem. āWeā went into Ikea for a cheap pack of cr2032 batteries, āweā left ikea with a whole new set of dishes.
If you spend $250 per month at Costco, the $60 extra Executive membership pays for itself (2% cash back). Plus other perks.
For $60 basic membership, just saving $0.25 per gallon on gasoline is worth it, even more savings on 93 octane!
ā¦which reminds meā¦when Costco runs out of regular fuel, they let members fill with premium for the regular price. Happens several times a year (I visit 3X a week minimum).
I just bought a membership there and donāt even plan to shop. With Volvo, Audi, and Bolt deals that pop on the regular seems like a safe $60 bet to save $2-4k it I end up leasing one car.
But I needed that kayak.
Seriously the fuel savings alone is worth it
Yeah dude. That van is a big, thirsty b.
We just moved and one of our first stops was Costco to stock up on various things we needed (and didnāt!) Ended up setting my new record for a non computer or electronic purchase. Would have been even more if I had decided to grab the Traeger grill they were selling instead of a comparable Pit Boss at Loweās. Shopping there can be very dangerous.
I hate it when my wife starts powering up for a upcoming Costco run⦠sigh⦠Itās never less than $400 at the register.
Shopping online there is great for a lot of things too. Have a restaurant chain that your family likes to eat at? They often have 20% off gift cards to major brands.
So i think the answer is yes. You can probably find 60 bucks a year in savings at Costco with minimal effort. If not, you only need to save 500 bucks once every eight years to make it worthwhile.
The free sample lunch buffet at every aisle is worth the membership aloneā¦I really love when they have the mini hot dog lady out there, after scarfing down 6 of those, I head to the bakery for the giant chocolate chip cookies and wash it down with the 44 oz soda from the hot dog cafe by the registersā¦
Costco lease incentives is literally the last thing to justify the membership, but when it does it wins big time.
If you think about it, the Audi Costco rebate has a LH score of 25-40 years.
