IONIQ 5 N Lease Options

,

Newbie here, I am looking at the IONIQ 5 N. I am located in Kansas City (on the line between Kansas and Missouri).

Wondering what others are seeing out there, I have searched and have not seen others after the N series, looking for some help or advice!

Have a lease that I am working on. 5k DAS and $848/mo. New to Leasekackr so also trying to see if that’s a good deal!

MSRP: $68k
SALES PRICE (after $7500 lease rebate): $54k

So you are telling me they are giving 6500 off on a 5 N?

Doesn’t sound right.

Here’s what my sheet says:

The MSRP discount is: $7,027.00
Lease rebate: $7,500.00

Well if that’s true, you got a deal on one of the fastest EV cars out there.

Locally the 5n has a Market Adjustment upward, not downward.

It felt like a great deal, but I am always skeptical of things! What are your thoughts?

make sure you aren’t being conned by the ‘discount’.

If not, you might’ve found a great deal on a ‘limited’ edition

What’s your advice on how to see if I am getting “conned” by the discount?

You need to see the full offer sheet. Just because someone ‘told you’ without it on paper, it’s worthless.

I’ve got the offer sheet in writing, total discount plus EV lease rebate is: $14,527.00

So post a picture of it here and blur out the personal stuff.

Looks incomplete as all you have is Doc / Government fee? No mention of taxes? Is this NJ?

Do you have a copy of the window sticker?

  • The TINT/Mats / Nitro is a big red flag because (Nitro is Air) and the other 2 might not be good quality.
  • Says you are are giving them a trade in for free, why not sell it and get some money?
  • 48m? You might not know this but at 36 months you need to get a coolant flush which is pretty pricey.
  • I’m still skeptical of the high discount on a ‘N’ series, have you seen the car and took pictures to make sure it wasn’t a loaner or previous wreck?

All good points!

  • I did go and test drive the car, it is brand new, no issue, window sticker looked perfect.
  • They already tinted the windows (looks much better tinted) and has the all weather mats as part of that $1,097 charge. Hate the upsell regardless though, especially the “premium air”
  • I have negotiated with then at length, another dealer did the same, potentially by accident, and used that comp to get them to do that discount.
  • I was told this payment was the out the door price that included taxes.

Also, what do you mean by selling to them for free? My payoff was $65,482, and they offered me $59,700 so I had some negative equity, I decided to throw some $$ at my loan to get it square so the negativity equity would be $0. KBB says I could get $62k for the car private sale, and it doesn’t seem worth the hassle.

Then the only thing left is your Trade in is funding that 7k discount.

What are you trading in? make / model / year / miles?

Trading in 2024 BMW Z4M40i, 4.5k miles

nice trade in! , maybe squeezing out a few k in it (I see it’s about 64k used right now) but I suspect that’s why you are getting a screaming deal on the 5 N

Just left my first dealership, here are my numbers from there (without any negotiation or anything)

MSRP: 67960.00
Price: 66621.00

24/12 : 1st payment down 1441.10/month with $7500 Rebate (52% residual)
36/12 : 1st payment down 1200.56/month with $7500 Rebate (45% residual)

something wrong.

This one is 71k (3k mark up) and zero down and was only $1200 in California (Which has nasty taxes on everything)
36/10

Shouldn’t your state be less than this?

Yeah! It’s awesome, bought it a few month ago and the $1300 payment is a bit much for me lol
