I think it depends which areas saw the first cases and how fast it spread among the population. Every part of the US has varying projected peaks as of now. Peak for NY is projected around April 15th.
I would not be surprised if Russia said they already beat this thing or never had it or anything else they say.

I laugh every time I see a new model predicting a peak or number infected, deaths, etc. Everybody is just guessing.
Interesting data point… my city is issuing a requirement for anyone outside of their homes to wear a mask.

If I recall correctly, he was trying to claim that the USN Mercy was actually a prison ship for when they declare martial law.
The most interesting thing about that story, though, is that he got charged with “Train Wrecking.” Yes, that’s an actual charge.

Maybe we will get a 50% failure rate instead of the 80% failure rate of Chinese masks
I heard two things today, I heard on the radio or TV that when NYC allows people to move about freely again (estimate now to be June), they too will require masks be worn while out in public.
Also both my daughter and wife work within 4 grades at different schools, and both heard that in NJ onsite school may not happen again until Jan 2021. I’m guessing folks within the state are thinking a 2nd wave could hit in the fall when normal flu season is prevalent.

Yes I have some “friends” who said get a few masks now because NY mandate will be n95 mask to leave your house.

At least for here, the order fork masks are for when you’re out and about now. I don’t know that the intent is for after the all-clear is issued.

Yea meant in a few weeks when it’s a mandate. Looks like it’s coming faster then I was told. Going to require face mask, and can be homemade cloth mask. Just meant for people to procure one now before the rush starts. Especially if you live in a bigger city.
Procure where though? Even hospitals can’t get supplies.
There are tons of things that can be used for a face covering. Doesn’t need to be an N95 surgery mask.
