Infiniti QX60 Lease

This x1000. I don’t even use my real name until it’s time to sign papers. I have so many burner email accounts on my phone at the moment, it is becoming unwieldy, but I’ve been spending too much time shopping for vehicles the last year+

Definitely dealer dependent. I put $2700 MSD on credit card as well. But I would have been ok with a check as well.

I have feeling that those quotes above aren’t very final. Like Jon said, acq fee is missing. Trade in values are slightly different between the quotes. Is there any way to get the actual number? Finding out numbers are different at finance office will suck. Totally waste of time if you walk out. Or they are already so emotionally into the deal and accept the additional fees.

If you really want to maximize your money you could get a new card with sign up bonus a month before getting your car and actually get like $1,000 back

So sad that this is still true today. If I take my wife to test drive cars, the salesman will ONLY discuss color. Nothing else…

Chase Ink Business Preferred is currently at 80k ultimate rewards points. :+1:

Edit: corrected card name

Agree getting quote accurate is key before walking in. I’ve seen many worksheets that don’t list the acq fee, but include it in the calculations. Best to get a common understanding with dealer whether it is in or out. [I would hate for it to really be included, but not listed, then you ask them to list it so they just increase your cap cost and don’t take it out on the backend so you are double paying it.]

Link please? 20202002020

Only if you decide to stop paying your car payments.

My volvo dealer let me do $4k MSD and drive offs on a card.

Had the name wrong, it’s the Chase Ink Business Preferred. If you want a referral let me know and I’ll PM you one.

Found it, thanks. 2020202020

I don’t know about auto leases but I know when you are applying for a mortgage they tell you not to sign up for any credit cards. Is the same true for leases?

FYI… Anyone who wants a link for Chase.

Unless your credit is right on the threshold between tiers, I doubt it’d be an issue.

I would think Chase, on the credit card side, would be more of an issue with their 5/24 rule, then an auto lease. Also, if you put your balances on business cards they don’t show up on your personal credit reports (and by balance I mean the monthly carry which gets paid off each month, not carrying a balance from month to month).

Or you have huge wear and tear deductions at turn in that you refuse to pay…

Or you let your auto insurance lapse and your car is stolen and you refuse to pay off the remaining balance…

Or the counterparty risk of Infiniti going bankrupt…

So you can feel pretty secure about getting your money back.

Did you end up leasing the qx60?

Let us know how it went! I’m in MD and currently about to start negotiating my 5th Infiniti lease for a QX60 for the boss. Please let me know what you ended up doing so I can head down to Annapolis Infiniti

I’m in the same boat…so to speak. About to start my FIRST negotiation and starting with this dealer. I’d appreciate any feedback as you work through your deal.
