How fast does it get done a drink? Is it the same time as a K cup?

Granted I am exclusively a hot coffee drinker 365 days a year. Don’t do ice coffee or any fancy/sugary drinks. By me Starbucks is 10% cheaper than Dunkin for my normal coffee order ($2.81 for a tall Pike). And Starbucks customer service/Mobile app is significantly better.

I prefer making coffee at home but when out and about id chose Starbucks over Dunkin 100% of time. And I even grew up just a few miles from the first Dunkin Donuts.

Starbucks is at least worth the price. DD simply isn’t.

The worst part about most Dunkins is the wait time based upon the chaos that goes on behind the counter and at the drive thru. The employees just don’t have it down like they do at Starbucks.

Never heard of Spinn. Reviews aren’t great on Amazon. How is it?

The survey itself is like asking which is more reliable - Alfa or Maserati

I was skeptical but a friend got one almost a year ago and I was impressed. It’s picky about beans (doesn’t like them oily) and I might have given up if he hasn’t told me he almost sent it back before trying different ones. Some Stumptown beans I tried that I was told were not oily made one great cup before making shots of coffee water, but changing beans seemed to be the solution.

I’ve really only used it for ā€œnitro cold brewā€ which isn’t technically nitro or cold brew without nitrogen or the time it takes to make a real one, but it’s a pretty good drink IMO. My friend used his to make a bunch of ā€œespressoā€ shots for espresso martinis at a party and while they aren’t real espresso without pressure, also worked well enough.

I’m definitely not a coffee connoisseur but it’s good enough for me. The cold brew it makes is the first coffee I’ve ever had that doesn’t need anything added to taste good to me. We’ll see how it holds up. I wouldn’t have paid full price, but I think it was like $620 with a code and was recently in the low $500s around Prime Day.

Cleaning it is also expensive, but I just ordered the products that according to Reddit are the same manufacturer for 20% of the price per use, so hopefully they work well.

I haven’t timed it, but within 30-45 seconds I’d say. It’s more maintenance than a Keurig, but less waste and a wider variety of drinks.

Wonder what I can find on eBay. I usually drink cold brew and my wife likes lattes. I love our Nespresso but the Spinn seems like it could be a nice upgrade.

Going to do a bit more research. Currently $650 on Amazon

I’ve heard the Spinn is great. I have this one as a cheaper alternative. I love it!

If you want drip, this is the way to go:

Also they make the world’s best toaster oven.

As an ex coffee master at Starbucks, the best bang for your buck would be going to a Starbucks Reserve or Roastery. Some of my all time favorite blends are only served there, and I buy them in bulk.
