I messed up - Need Help With Mazda Lease!

I am located in Delaware and I leased a 2024 Mazda CX-5 Premium late last year. I am fairly new to leasing and Ill admit my mistake, I decided too early.

The CX5 does not fit my needs and I am really wanting to get out of this lease. What are my best options?

No, Mazda does not have the car I want. So the option of turning this in for another Mazda wont work for me  :

Thanks in advance!

Try carvana, carmax and other places. They can buy you out

I did try CarShop (since its so close to me), but they couldnt give me a price because “its too new for KBB to value it”. Will try the other sites!
I also heard, Mazda wont allow other dealerships to buy out the lease, is that true?

Post a ad on forum, maybe someone will take it, give that a few weeks and if that doesnt work drive to carmax you might break out even

You’re liking a hold a large bag of negative equity. There isn’t an easy solution that won’t be expensive.

What was your deal on your Mazda? How much did you put down and what’s your payment? Terms?

Mazda is TFS and TFS allows it. So you should be good. But expect to pay $XXXX in negative equity…good luck!

Only tax and tag down.
36/10, $450/month.
Ive only got 5k miles on her right now.

Ok glad to hear that, thank you!

You’ll first need to find out what your exact buyout price is. Call Mazda Financial/TFS and get your number.

Then shop the online car buyers for the current pricing.

Once you figure out how much underwater you are, come back here with those updates and others can help better.

Good luck.
