Yeah the CCAP lease is still active… which is fine. Happy to make another payment… I mean the payment is only $419 a month and I’ve made enough on these and my buyout is so low I’m not worried about that. The bigger issue is a check, but I have to assume we’re going to resolve this in the next couple days and they owe me my equity.
Those recent auction runs are factory vs. regular which makes me think these might have some issues… I mean values getting hit on these wouldn’t be a shocker with 24s on the way.
This is a big dealer group store and the unit has been listed for 4 days. I’d imagine they need to do their job and cut the check and pay off the loan.
Okay positive resolution and this was basically a miscommunication from GM to GSM to me.
GM didn’t realize the car was already there and we had a signed deal. Thought this was an accepted offer but we hadn’t signed it over.
Protocol as in most dealers is that a deal this big he should have reviewed and he knows that there are a ton of rebates/incentives etc on these and would have offered 5k less. We had a nice call this AM where he explained that he owned it but his team should have come to him before doing the deal.
Thanks again for putting me at ease, always appreciate the collective insight from all of your experiences. But having bought, leased and sold a lot of cars this was certainly a first
Back to vacation ( I’ll still be commenting and pulling $1k jeep codes from my beach chair…)
lol. These days who isn’t on their phones on vacation? I’m on LH, she’s on instagram, my kids are on tiktok then we walk to the tiki bar take a nap or jump in the water.
Unfortunately, that is quite true. We try to not be on the phones too much during the day, unless when we’re apart. For example when they stay in to rest and I sneak off to the beach or bar, or vice versa. I often enjoy the places where we have little to no service (or wifi)… then there isn’t even a choice of being on the phone.
